  • In the final video, we take a look at how we can route audio through the Moog Minitaur, which can add analogue warmth and saturation to any audio signal. We show you our process for routing audio through the Minitaur in this video and then compare and contrast the audio we pass through the Minitaur, analysing pre & post processing.

Man, this is super useful comparison. Great idea to run it through a number of audio sources. Well done!

The bass got much better actually. it naturally boosted the frequency you would boost when mixing together with other things. Nice video , man! I'm gonna try it on mine ;)

Hey thanks for the video. Is it also possible to affect the external audio signal with the envelope? For example to make the attack smoother? And Same question for the two lfos and if it is possible two sync the lfo with the external signal if it is a beat for example. Thank you very much! Cheers orbit

yeah if you're running audio through the Minitaur you can use the envelope to shape the audio. The VCO LFO wont alter the pitch as that's routed to the oscillaotrs, but the VCF LFO will alter the filter of the audio.

Maybe a stupid question - is there any way to run audio through the minitaur without triggering it via MIDI?

If release is on and all the way to the right the trigger note keeps going until the "note" fades out. ;)

connect your minitaur with USB, install the minitaur software and in extended select "midi-sync" ... in LFO-divider you can select which precision

2 moog minitaurs is the work-around for having only 1 channel. Unfortunately I have done it with guitar pedals that I love.
