Ah my little Pinger, he is happy now with new owners, I could not bring him with us when we moved to Scotland , I hear he is having a b¡good life and still enjoys his wanders and time with the goats ! Susan x
Hi, Susan. Love your channel and all the fabulous info you provide. Thank you. Incidentally, how do you manage to live in Spain, then move to Scotland with the cost of living as it is - especially after the Sham - demic which deliberately destroyed economies across the board? Just wondering because as it stands this year we were planning to move back to Europe, but it's just gotten too expensive and with the justifiable turmoil e.g. farmers fighting to keep their land, long overdue immigration curtailment, Europeans demanding to leave the EU which would surely save what's left of the Europe we used to know and love and so much else. God Bless and happy trails!
Hi Thank you for writing to me. I moved to Spain in 1989 then in October 2022 I came back to Scotland to spend time with my parents before the end of their lives I am now busy ( hence no recent videos) planning my move back to Spain in october this year. The same 3 horses will be coming with me. I am not sure how to explain the "how I do it " . I go with my intuition of what feels like the right thing to do, and I do it. In this way for me things work out well Susan x
Hi Susan, just wondered if you have watched any video's with jp giacomini, i madee this connection with you and your readings from nuno oliveira's book having watched jp giacomini who i believe was a student of nuno teaching a student at his ranch in california back in 2009, fascinating stuff.im embracing all this knowledge and tuning in to the light when I ride.x
@@melancollie9597 thank s for that, I dont know it but will check it out. My teacher here in Spain was student of Nuno and it was only then I discover his work. I immediately wanted to go to Portugal but unfortunately it was 1989 and Nuno had already died. I went anyway to go to Luis Valenca, his nephew, which was s wonderful experience. Since the 80s I have explored many other paths of horsemanship and find that the base is the same in all the ones which have meaning to me. Starting with love and respect for the horse . So glad you found me and now I have a new discovery too Susan x
Morning Susan, thank you for your lovely response and taking the time to do so..I will try and find the link re- jp giacomini, I have it somewhere, but if you check out on you tube; jp giacomini.holman ranch, carmel Valley, April 2009, laura Hudson owner, Katy Peterson rider, horse partisano do artete. I'm sure it was a 6 part clinic starting with half pass and at some stage he makes reference to nuno.i assume it is thee 'nuno' but I may be wrong..What i watched stayed with me as it felt right as it did when I watched your channel..check it out as I would appreciate your views to ensure I had been following good teaching as there is so much stuff out there....glad I found you too..Have a peaceful day.xx
I love everything you're saying, but your horse seems very uncomfortable with the bit just standing still; and the starving dog in the background is very distracting! Please feed him!!! :'( My horse is only bad when my husband rides with me. He's perfect on the trail with any other horses, but when his pasture buddy is in the mix he's a complete arse!!!
Hi Leslie, thank you for connecting This horse has a very active jaw and love playing around, dont worry, he isnt bothered by the bit. At some part of the video he was a bit concerned about some unusual things going on out of camera yet chooses to stay which is nice . The dog turned up near starved to death and slowly came back to health with good feeding and TLC. He is called pinger and loves to jump up and down like Tigger from Winnie Poo. You will be glad to know he is in great shape Such a funny story, thanks for sharing
Hi thank you for connecting Morisco is a PRE, its a funny thing how outside of Spain everyone seems to talk about Andalucians yet in Spain the breed is PRE Pura Raza Español ( pure bred Spanish ). In this case he is also from a breeder in Andalucia so I guess he can be an Andalucian Susanx
please take a video of the rehabbed dog! would be lovely to see him healthy, as animal lovers.
