Thank you so much! CSI is a CUNY so if you’re a New York resident you’re bound to get in because they basically accept anyone. I would say for admissions just to be safe, keep a decent GPA and test scores and apply early. Otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much! I know it’s a great school. I love it so far! And I’m sure it’s going to be fun when in person classes and programs start again!
That’s totally understandable. They do give you contact to talk to your roommates before hand and you take a roommate matching quiz but if you really don’t vibe with your roommates you can stay in your room, y’all don’t have to be friends!
My cousin made them for me when she had her small business but she doesn’t make them anymore. If you search album covers on Instagram though there are so many small businesses who make them. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Also thank you so much!! ❤️

Honestly CSI was the last school that I thought I would end up at. My college advisor made sure I applied to a bunch of CUNYs and SUNYs just in case but I didn’t pay much attention to which they were because I had my heart set on an HBCU in Florida called FAMU. Once I didn’t get into FAMU I got discouraged but I ended up doing my research on CSI and realized it’s a pretty good school for a CUNY. I liked that it was still in NYC, it’s close to home, they have a great nursing program, a great cheerleading team, and the dorms are beautiful!
So before COVID you could bring outsiders in but they have to be out and checked out before 10pm. People who live in the dorms could be there all hours. Now with COVID outsiders are not allowed and they suggest against bringing other students into your apartment!!
im confused, there is such thing as a 4 way dorm? is there a way we can pick if we want that or a single room or just a room with a room mate? and can u expalin the 4 way dorm room im confused on that part lol
So at CSI there are 4 different dorming options. You can pick exactly what you want but if they run out of space for your first choice you’ll get your second choice Option 1: 4 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment (single room) - there are 4 people in the apartment - one person per each room Option 2: 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment (single room) - there are 4 people in the apartment - 2 people share a room - 2 people have their own room - you would have your own room Option 3: 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment (shared room) - there are 4 people in the apartment - 2 people have their own room - 2 people share a room - you would share a room with 1 other person Option 4: 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment (single room) - there are 2 people in the apartment - 1 person per each room Let me know if you’re still confused!
There is no boy or girl hall, everyone is mixed in together. The only things single gender are the apartments themselves. So basically your next door neighbor could be an apartment full of boys and vice versa
