From my observations of past outputs. Jonathan can partner amazingly with anyone, and cover any song he chooses to brilliantly.
This song has incredible melancholy undertones that feel deep and soulful. I don't know why it whispers to me in such an untamed way.

This song has helped heal me a bit by helping me express my seperation to the faith I once followed. The "I can't promise things will change" defiently hits the soul after leaving. Because most of the time nothing changes outside of you. It's just your preception shifts. You realize that all the times you thought were faith moments was just life happening and even after losing that faith life just contiunes on and nothing really changes.

Oh my. My engagement was broken a couple of months ago and the imagery I've been using is a viking in his longship lost at sea in a storm trying to find my way back home and this. This is just... like it came out of the hole in my chest.

I'll be honest, this song and Holy Mother are two of the best originals you've ever made Jon :). Of course, Starship Velociraptor was a masterpiece album. I should go back and listen to it again for the thousandth time lol.
