The Pumping Nylon book said this was a great piece to develop pull-off/hammer-on technique, but after listening I see this is WAAY too advanced for me! T_T

Good to have a reference for this because the meter changes are kind of crazy for me.

The book I'm using, Pumping Nylon, has the first fret on the first string and the sixth fret on the third string, yet I see no videos of anyone doing that section. Why?

I wonder if anyone could help me. I am looking at the music for this and trying to add up the notes in the bars to make up the 5 8th notes but it doesn't seem to add up.. Do I only count the notes with stems pointing up.. or do I count also the notes with stems pointing down to reach the total of 5 8th notes in a bar?

It’s easier to ask which one “isn’t” it! It rapidly cycles between 5/8, 3/4, 4/4, 2/4, 3/8, 6/8 - did I miss any? Not quite sure what such a technically complex piece is doing in the opening chapter of a technique book though???
