- Playing Brian's "Chant" from Pumping Nylon. Great, great piece for tightening up the tremolo, besides being a beautiful work.

It's just... brilliant. Perfect Tremolo
I would not call it perfect but still quite good indeed!
@@ipaporod Do it better and show (off) the world HOW it should be done, Mr. Know It All. We´ll be waiting for your video. Thanks
Amazing performance. This piece is killing me, but I absolutely love it. The change from 7/8 to 4/4 to 3/4 in the second line of the score is just so good.
what a beautiful song! an intriguing gift to the ears, thank you very much.
cant wait to get your book!thank you scott
Exquisite! Wonderful performance!
I've been struggling with this for a long time. I'll carry on struggling. It can only get better.
Patrick Smart maybe practice more slow an relaxed, proper technique comes in long term.
Amazing piece and playing!
Beautiful piece!
fantastic performance, Scott, you are better than ever. And of course, I just ordered the book, I am already salivating :)
Amazingly wow!
Absolutely beautiful. Up there with John O Shea's rendition.
Excellent composition
Maestro!
Amo la técnica de este hombre :')
I have the sheet music of the beauty works! I was my firts time that I listen the performance. Thanks!
Qué chulo trémolo!
This piece is harder than Recuerdos de la Alhambra...!
Amazing color👍
Hi Scott! congratulations! fabulous playing! However, I've seen you have changed some fingering about "pumping nylon" book, right?
I sure wish you were my teacher.
you should, he was mine.
Buy the book and DVD Pumping Nylon. You too can learn these techniques from Mr Tennant. Nice book, very methodical.
How does Scott Tennant hold the guitar in this position? I don't get it.
Non-slip pad underneath.
the old flamenco style to hold the guitar
Very weird playing position but if it works for him he should not change it
The definition of 'weird' changes individually.
It looks more natural to me, but can’t understand for the life of me how the guitar stays up as he is not supporting it anywhere, this perplexes me.
@@christofinb I think it's just the pressure of his right arm pressing it against his body that keeps it upright, pretty cool.
advantage: the pelvis is in a symmetrical position
disadvantage: the production of tone colours is restricted, the movement of the right arm and hand lose flexibility, also the left hand contributes to the stabilization of the guitar.
Not the easiest way to hold the guitar, but it is worth to practice these.
