Jayden and Antonio's friendship is practically brotherly and honestly a bit inspiring, Jayden gave him a zord despite knowing that Ji would be furious if he found out and promised to help make Antonio a samurai after seeing how much he wanted to be one. While Antonio who had wanted to become a samurai ever since he was a kid, showed such determination and dedication despite not coming from a family of samurais like the others by building his own ranger gear. Most kids who'd make a promise at that age would most likely have forgotten about it and would never see each other again, but Antonio kept up his training and came back to help as he promised despite knowing how dangerous the job would be and was willing to accept the risk that he might die in the process without hesitation. That's a rare example of true dedication friendship that you don't see much of these days.

I really wish they brought more attention to Jayden smiling the second Antonio unmorphed. Mia and Mike look back, and Jayden's already grinning, seeing his old friend standing in front of him as a Ranger, who just saved them all. Great moment!

It's funny that I was just talking about this again in a new "Favorite Gold Ranger" post; Jayden never smiled like this before this one episode, all because his friend was back, even if it was for a short time (in Jayden's mind at the time).

Just because Antonio isn't of Samurai descent, doesn't mean he's not just as skilled, capable or qualified. When he tried to interview, Jayden and Ji were wrong to flat out reject him, he deserves a chance. Ji isn't always right and he doesn't know everything. Antonio did save them, build his own Morpher, etc.
