Yea ecspecially when you're away down on power. Can't give up a gearing advantage, power advantage, as well as being manual vs auto and expect to win. The 10 speed is different because so many gears give it a gearing advantage but your typical auto that is geared similar won't be at much advantage from a roll vs a well driven manual at the same power to weight ratio. Like a 6r80 and 11-17 mt82 has similar gearing so in a roll race between those two at similar power levels and the manual having the driver mod it would be pretty close negligible difference. In these instances there was a gearing and power advantage for the a10 car as well as the cat. It isn't always about auto and manual.

The Biggest difference besides weight between the Mustang & Hellcats is that Mustangs come with Forge internals vs Hellcats coated. If you wanna run max boost from your tune. You gotta do a piston, rod swap. Thx MOPAR 🥲
