As a King Gizz and Osees fan gotta click when I see two drummers
You damn right xD
OhSees fan, came here. gizz not as good
ha yeP~! grateful dead had 2 drummers too! ha!
yuup, especially on KEXP
Only reason I clicked
What a tight, inventive, skilled band. Awesome. And the KEXP sound engineers are in a class of their own. Just unreal
I'm a simple man. I see two drummers and a mad scientist I like
Wow those drummers are so beautifully in sync. Can’t tell you how hard it is to match tempo like that for a full set
well, to be fair they had the sequencer kinda workin like a metronome for them. still, very impressive
Clicked immediately when I saw two drummers in the thumbnail. Damn there are some absolute grooves in this performance. Thanks for highlighting so many great smaller acts!
they share the same kick drum dude!
@@big_ol_ball838 Totally agree, the same thing happened to me when I saw the thumbnail and saw two drummers doing the same thing, it's just an aesthetic issue, and the music doesn't stand out at all, in my humble opinion it's just another band doing unremarkable things
@@GEGrassi they actually aren’t doing the same thing. The guy in the left typically is doing fills and stuff while the other takes on the more heavier rhythm stuff. And come on man, don’t tell me you didn’t expect the first song to get THAT hard. This shit is good dude
Ikr, I was going to do any other thing but had to stop by here when I spotted two drummers. And it was great! Amazing music, different of what I expected.
Try the Lumberjack Feedback if u like double-drums setup ;)
thats gotta be one of the most unique band setups I've ever seen, but those arrangements are super tight!
PAUS have been doing it for a decade. Check them out.
I would be impressed for the modular dude alone. This is on another level!
Fabuleux
Mille merci kexp pour la découverte
Kraut rock
Forever🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow! It’s like Can meets Buffalo Daughter. Absolutely epic. The two drummers create such a dynamic, hypnotic and phat sound. Straight to the top of my listening list.
+500 points for introducing me to Buffalo Daughter
I enjoyed their originality, really cool stuff! I also respect their willingness to move all that crap around every time they play, haha.
Modern punk! Love it! This band seems so insular. I feel like a voyeur of their fun! Fantastic KEXP! 👏👏
i see this band and Squid putting on one hell of shared show together
What a gloriously pleasant surprise. These cats have an incredible feel for groove.
Just God level creating. Well done.
Crazy young guy’s awesomeness! Love it! ❤😊
Madre deus! Long time, since i heard such new thing, Full Power!
Thanks KEXP for highlighting some of our french talents. Great performance. Looking forward to hearing more. Cheers from France!
I love that the modular setup is like the centerpiece to the live presence. You can watch a lightshow and see what the guitarist uses it for on the spot instead of it being tucked away.
Never heard these before. They're great 👍
Absolutely out of this freaking world. Maybe, I'm tired of working all day, but that blew my mind. SUPER TIGHT!!!!
Nope you're not just tired. That was insane
Ok, two drummers, that's cool. But personally I'm impressed with the modular synthesizer. It's soooo rare to see someone who knows what he's patching or what he's going to get by turning this or that potentiometer 👏
YESSS. MUCH respect and awe by that command of his instrument(s). Daaaamn, man. Salut.
Absolute madmen! Thanks KEXP for making space for such a wide range of music!
Magnificent!!!
Radio Béton FTW
First time hearing them, great band, unique fresh sound . Could you imagine these guys jamming with The Comet Is Coming !
How in the fuck is this dude accurately using a modular synth of that size. Like it's shouldn't be that consistent
Meule, j'adore !!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏🦸🦹🖤🖤🖤🖤🙏🙏🙏
this is interesting and wonderful. cheers
Great!
bravo !
Edgar Frose', is nodding his approval of that synth setup, from heaven. Really great sound over all! Another winner from the modern John Peel, KEXP!
It is indeed impressive. It looks like a custom case build that mixes racks of eurorack modules with some 5u format? Kinda hard to tell, a lot appear to be diy, though. The bottom right section def looks like something custom.
Either way, I dug his tones and melodies a lot, and I really like his approach to performing with it in that setup, where the crowd can see the instrument as well as the musician playing it
beautiful concept of music ... throwed me back to my krautrock repetitive music time period. Go ahead boys!
Congrats guys ! C'est trop cool ! Et quel no couchette !
Brilliant
Awesome ideas!
Sounds unbelievably cool!!! Psychedelic groove!!!!))))))⚡⚡⚡
Yeahhhhh!!
absolutely hypnotising . theres a story of a groove underneath that's soooo gooood . i'm gonna tell people about these guys. Thanks KEXP. GJ
Balthazar!
Yet another solid recommendation from this channel
Was in highschool with the guitarist, always knew he would turn into an accomplished musician :) well done Valentin 💪
Also went to school with him.::got beat up all the time unfortunately wasn’t a popular boy.
@@dongvermine He is popular now 😎
@@unhanegra8340 not in his own hometown unfortunstely though he is still seen as a joke.
Playing is pretty dodgy, ngl. Found it boring.
@@jeremyyamma4364 have you been on kexp?
Wow cool setup!!! I love everything about this. Also I can’t help but see the Liars - Mess album cover when I look at that board
😅
There is nothing more impressive than a man with a HUUUUUGE wall of synthesizers
Neat. Reminds me of a jammier version of KC's great Coward at times. I don't understand how you work modular synths into things this tightly and with this much variation and control. Cool stuff.
Was typing up a snarky comment about how they had like $50,000 of equipment to play over a plucky arpeggio, but then the 2nd song came in and I was like ok I get it now
I think your snarky comment still holds water...even having listened to the second song.
I still support the snarky comment as mostly true, even though I don't hate this music and I appreciate the originality of the group.
2nd song reminds me of osees - tidal wave
Yeah, the equipment looks really cool tho! haha! They could put that all those sounds on one MacBook but not as cool looking!
haha
That's what I thought as well at first. It would be really cool to set up some audio cv triggers coming from the drums into various parts of the synth.
i will never ever not be a fan of a band with 2 drummers.
This officially ends my long drought of new, interesting, and good, music.
You guys are dope!
That’s a sick set just wish it was longer because I keep watching it.
I’m a fan can’t wait to hear more from you guys.
The guy playing the tangled wires is pretty good.
Just listened to their album because of this video and its freaking rad! Going to need to find it on vinyl!
Where did you listen to their album?
@@djfazher bandcamp ! sorry just saw this after coming back to rewatch! Bandcamp is the only music platform I use these days!
ok this is straight up fire. Always been a huge fan of double drums bands.
Two drummers playing the exact same thing all the time. That really adds….um…nothing.
It looks cool and they are having fun.
Thats all that matters. ha!
OMG Amazing music. Instantly loving it. Thank you Muele!
That aluminum baritone guitar is so cool!
Looks like a maple neck with an alu faceplate and pickguard. Definitely going for the alu neck through look though.
And now for something completely different...
I quite liked it. The singing was so-so but the double drums and the synths I loved.
spot on
the singing was strong
The singing and compositions were shit but the sounds and grooves were terrific
@@onedone2011 especially considering how he was drumming at the same time!
"Ok, guys, i was thinking, let's start a band?"
"OMG, I WOULD LOVE IT! I'LL BUY A SYNTH NEXT WEEK!"
"But i only play drums and you too, man"
"Don't worry, i got an idea..."
Similarities to Holy Fuck - great stuff!
Fantastic set and that ending WOW!! 👏👏👏
What a neat little surprise in my UA-cam feed today. I'm a prog fan generally (Genesis, YES, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, etc). This reminds me of Kraftwerk x Duologue x Radiohead. Not necessarily mind blowingly brilliant all the time, but in its own way definitely rather clever. The music beats the vocals for me.
Terrific ⚡️💎⚡️
Fantastic. What a performance. Great!
really cool mesmerizing performance !!! best wishes from germany (salut!)
nice to see whatever those big synths are, in a live setting
The last one was an hit! Thanks guys, amazing performance :)
France and Australia have all the cool bands now.
They are from Oklahoma ;)
@@imegatanadoiataki didn't know Oklahoma was in France
What the hell have I just discovered ?!?!?!?!?!
Unbefuckinlievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So cool... From post punk and new wave to acid jazz and psy rock!
Go go go les mecs !!!! le dernier titre est énorme
Is the 2-drummer thing something purely visually cosmetic? Good music, but why not have them play different stuff? Just being whimsical?
wish it never gonna stop
This is absolutely phenomenal

Somebody please tell how is this band sounding so good with such a strange setup!
thousands upon thousands of dollars of equipment
I'm still wondering what that was but it was great.
🔥🔥🔥
Classe
Fire 🤙
Unique., good stuff...gotta give a thumbs up to a band with two drummers..Genesis with Phil Collins was the first band I saw in concert with two drummers, and it was an excellent time. Enjoyed the vid KEXP
Cool musicians, cool stuff, I like it:) respect
Meule From Tours, France (Indre-Et-Loire) ! Always a good sound with KEXP. Thanks ;)
yeah so fkn nice to listenw hen frend high we nice too high yeaaaah! rock n roll mausic
King Gizz meets Tycho meets the Oh Sees meets Animal Collective
me like from the first two bars - great groove
Good stuff.
This is fucking great
hellllll yeahh this is dope
Hey KEXP. Is it possible to make a session with Totorro? You would make many of their fans extremely happy. One of the best bands from the Rennes scene.
oh my god, thank you! best thing i’ve heard in a long time!
Came for the 2 drummer thumbnail but stayed for the great show. Well done really liked the set up too.
sickkkk
This is just brilliant.
So different, so fresh, so interesting.
