Installed mine 8 months ago after I got it color match painted with some new Dakota Digital Gauges and some new LA Chopper 12 inch apes...what an awesome outcome....although I wish they laid the radio back about an inch so you can see it a little better. Did all the work myself except the paint.
I have a question. I would like to do this upgrade on my 09 road glide. I understand fitment is an issue, however I'm curious if the harness plugs are the same for both the road glide and street glide? Or is it entirely different head unit set up for both bikes?
Thank you very informative. I was just wondering when you took the interfering off did you have to unplug all the gauge wiring? It seems to me trying to keep track of what goes to where when reinstalling it would be complicated on all of these wiring harnesses.
The wiring harness should go back pretty easily, everything should be close to how it was laying. Take pictures if you're unsure or video it to ensure it's ran correctly
Just installed this unit on my pop's bike. It does not have a GPS, navigation and most other functions must come from your phone. Break your phone and your left with Glorified FM radio. Also it is touch screen but has a row of buttons across the bottom. While trying to set it up I would have to use these hard to read buttons because no one screen buttons would bring me out of the page I was on. Not water proof as you can see from other videos and much less functionality than many other 100-250$ units
A lot of details left out. Never saw everything wired up. Never saw the aluminum bridge that was spoken about. Never saw finished install or how it sounded.
Why would a bridge have to be made for it to work properly? If you know it is needed then add it to the kit. SMH. It's little stuff like this that gets me. And more than half the bikes out there have aftermarket bars, Dremel tool, really? Interesting to say the least.
They will not stand behind their products. Heck, it’s hard to talk to a human on the phone. Plus their is no warranty on the color matched faring which is cheaper/weaker than the OEM. Mine broke within a year.
Entire project is a waste of time and money from a company that’s no longer in business. Build your own extension brackets for the speakers??? Lmao! Substandard Sony head unit that fries when it gets wet??? Lol! If you really want a gloss inner, just pull the OEM and have it painted. And for a better plug and play radio get the Soundstream 9813SG or RG. Much simpler and cost effective solution.
Hello, I am the manufacturer of LED headlights and like your video. I really want to have an cooperation with you. I have sent you the message via email. Looking forward to your reply.
That aluminum bridge should be included with the kit for the speaker should be included.
YOU MY FRIEND ARE AWESOME! Crystal clear instruction! No unnecessary gabbing. Right to the freakin point! Perfect!

Its alot of work, great video👍thanks for the info
2010 is the 21st century....
Thank you for helping me my friend!
Why wouldn't you show the inner fairing after the install was complete so people can see if it looks ok or would prefer OEM inner and outer......
Looks like a lot of work
Liked this video.
Loved the snap on tools
And what about the fairing wind deflectors..does this new inner fairing piece not allow them to be transferred over?
Great video and info, but wanted to let you know that your website is down or has a bad link.
AWESOME JOB!!!!
Google metra inner fairing. Multiple purchase options come up. Might not include the head unit but it’s a start
I've never had to take the tank off to pull the inner fairing
Nobody over there I'm talking to my house 😂😂😂
I want to get one for my street glide but I need to know how much it is. Just says sold out on the website but no price given
That link takes you to some japanese slot page or something.
Should have showed and included that bridge! Also show the finish product from the rider side.
So the url takes me to an Indonesian site.. Where can I buy one of these kits?
Did you ever find out about purchasing the inner fairing?
Where do you get the ferry for a 2010 full dress
How can I get one of these Sony 7000 plug in play for my 2016 street glide
Do y’all supply a outer fairing support bracket
Where can I buy this inner fairing & radio? What is the company & brand name?
Apparently the shop has recently gone out of businesses so I don’t understand why the UA-cam videos from a shop no longer in business are still up.

Didn't get to see the finished product !! See what the radio looked like. Nothing ???
They are T27 bolts not T25

No pictures of the inner faring done ??? Well that was a waste of time
Too bad I can’t buy it
