there is also an opinion out there that make up is permissible and both opinions are respected but i’m pretty sure in that opinion too you can’t wear like heavy heavy attractive make up and there’s more to it like the intention. One can do their own research and choose the opinion that they agree with the most also taking into consideration the intention and modesty like in the video
You’re sooo right. It’s so sad that Muslim women are blinded by the standards of society. Makeup was made for attraction, to be appealing. To be stylish. It will attract non mahram men. It is not permissible according to Hadith. Muslim women try to make it permissible ignoring the Hadith and Quran. I used to do the same, but I’ve changed alhamdulilah. You are not wrong ❤
Very nice take on the topic. I wear makeup daily but since putting my hijab on I have adopted a more natural look with makeup. I only cover up any dark circles or blemishes. My personal opinion is that natural makeup to cover up flaws is ok but Allah knows best
This is the second video I see from you and I can already say that you’re underrated! sister I recommend you delete this video. what if a woman watches and takes your opinion as a fact and wears makeup outside then it turns out it wasn't permissible?you know what will happen to you? and remember that each womans idea of "no makeup make up" is different. do not hold this weight on your shoulder. imo makeup makes you look "nicer" that is tabaruj and tabaruj is in many degrees. sister your face is beautiful as it is with the eyebags and the blemishes you dont have to look like an irl filter but anyway if you need to wear it do that infront of family and other sisters but do not wear it outside, why will you let an outsider man look at your face and find beauty in it?? who is he to do that? you know how men see you. even if that is not your intention. just dont because its not worth it and we will all die and find out did we pass the test? or did we fail??? because we cared about such nonsense? and i dont know and allah knows best. i pray all of you sisters find beauty in your faces without having to "make up" for your imperfections
I know my opinion doesn’t really matter about this subject because I’m not a muslim and I lack a lot of knowledge about Islam. But as a person that wears makeup, this video really resonates with me. I’ve been interested in Islam for awhile now and thinking about converting but when I see people saying stuff like this and this is haram and harshly condemning others for wearing makeup. It can be discouraging for people like me. I know for myself that I wear makeup for myself and to feel good about my appearance. I don’t want to entertain of get attention for men. And of course I understand that we should guide each other but I don’t think that she said anything wrong in this video.
@pipsheep6217 sister I hope you accept Islam sooner than later because you never know when your time is up. But Islam is easy to follow you just choose the haram things to enjoy. Like people who listen to music. What's the point in listening to music?? But they get so addicted to it and "oh Islam is so hard can't we listen to music". Music even causes some people to have absolutely no interest in doing any chore without blasting music. How is that good for them. And we know now about subliminals and hidden messages in songs. Same with makeup. You don't need makeup! And nothing that Islam says not to do is good for you. Makeup is not good for you. Ruins your self image and security. Why can't you feel beautiful without it?? And yes it attracts men whether it's your intention or not so both of you will get ithem because they looked and you flaunted your beauty. Sister anyway I hope you accept Islam whether you do sins or not. We do know Allah is the most forgiving but try your best. What matters is not this life but the afterlife and you will !not! Go to heaven unless you believe in Allah and his messenger. Very simple. Then after your shahada, you can start step by step becoming a better Muslim. As heaven (jannah) has many levels! And you can go to highest insha'allah
im not sure as well, im 28 and my whole life i only focus on my studies and no skincare or makeup. as i age i noticed that my skin, body, and face are aging so i started taking good care of my self, skincare, vitamins, going to the gym, and when i take time for myself by putting on my simple makeup it makes me feel calm and feminine. so yeah maybe thats why, but it is still part of my self discovery.
Watching this as a very insecure 13 year old. It would make my parents happy if I quit wearing makeup, but I don't know how to feel pretty without it, considering I can't play with my hair because of the hijab. I want to feel beautiful in some way, but I know what to do. Tips?
@user-eg4pg1xc9k hello🩷 if you keep wearing makeup you will never stop being insecure because you keep wanting to "fix" your face with makeup therefore never accepting the features you were born with, that Allah created you with! You are 13 my beautiful sister, you are still a child and you are growing, you are not supposed to be eye catching at that age😊 once you get to age 20+ your gorgeous facial features will be complete. But if you don't stop wearing makeup rn you will keep wearing it even at 20 years old and 30 and 40 etc. You will never be secure enough in your face to start finding it beautiful. And you know that in Dunya we are supposed to struggle? Allah knows girls want to dress up and look like barbies, but this is a test sister! So we get to go to Janna! What's the point of a girl dolling up herself in Dunya just to have her face burn up in jahanam. Forgive me sister. Make up is not worth it. Wake up, wash your face, comb you hair, comb your eyebrows(do not cut them), wear clear lip balm, make sure your nails are clipped, your clothes neat and clean, drink enough water, and sleep enough. You will look gorgeous! And it's a 100% halal. When going outside, wear pretty hijabs, nice colors and styles (but it should still pass as a hijab) and when you find the perfect hijab style for your face, and the colors that make you look even prettier you won't even care about playing with your hair(except for when home or with other girls). Hijab anyways is a blessing no matter how your hair looks that day it's okay, and it won't be damaged by the sun or dirt in the weather. Okay I've typed for way too long I'm sorry girl but makeup is not worth it! Do you wanna stay insecure?? AND possibly anger Allah?? And have disappointed parents?? Please start accepting your face. You are veryyyyy beautiful🥰 may Allah guide us all
You need to develop haya. Haya js when you don't want to show your beauty to others you find it not honourable and disgusting. That's the point of hijab. To hide your beauty from others who are not allowed to see it. I do not know where did you get the idea from that you need to feel beautiful in hijab. You need to look respectable presentable as in there are no creases in your dress and it is not dirty and so on. Your face (if you don't have any dark circles or pimples) should not have any makeup. (If you have dark circles or pimples you may put on concealer) you need to feel good and pleased with the fact that Allah is pleased with you. You need to develop haya. Very simple. May Allah make it easy for you. In short: beauty is for home. Outside you should not beautify yourself but you can put on concealer on pimples or dark circles if you have any in order not to attract attention with what is bad on the skin. It is common in puberty even later maybe to have pimples and so on but by default that's not how human skin looks like so you should cover that in my opinion. You need to stay away from kafir's influences on the topic of beauty and follow islam and then you will realise how this comment you made makes no sense. This term "insecure" is weird in islam. it doesnt't belong nor does it come from islam. you may not like your looks but insecurity is something else like it doesn't make any sense to use such a term. You need to accept the way that Allah has created you and if you have some defects if you can fix them and if you cannot do anything you can make dua. Maybe Allah will never remove those defects and you need to accept and live with them if you have any. You should not be bothered so much. As long as you are normal - have two eyes nose and lips, you are just fine. You need to feel good in rules of Islam. To hate what Allah hates and like what Allah likes. Because that is the true path. It is strange to see a Muslim not loving what Allah has ordered but rather struggling to fulfill it. If you develop love for Allah this issue will disappear completely you will come here and feel disgusted towards the comment you made but that is how Allah changes hearts
@@user-cs9tg9ze5o I live in America and don't go to Muslim school, and if I don't wear makeup I get bullied. also get bullied for wearing hijab, anyway to fix that? And I don't have anything else I like about myself, so how do I fix that
instead of makeup try skincare(for simple one:cleanser, moisturiser, sunscreen) and work-out. You're young you shouldn't worry about things like make-up and beauty. You should focus more on selfcare.Social media puts pressure on young people for looking pretty and beautiful. And I'm victim of that influence too.May Allah help us girls and women ^^
@@user-cs9tg9ze5o She’s talking about feeling beautiful for herself. Not others. So you shouldn’t bring up other people. When a person says “I want to feel pretty,” it doesn’t always mean for other people. I’ve actually heard someone complain about the personal hygiene of some Muslim women bc some think that because we are supposed to cover themselves, they take it as they don’t need to take care themselves AT ALL bc “no one is going to see” and that’s not good either. You still need to take care of yourself and generally feel good about yourself. And that doesn’t automatically mean wearing makeup. Skin care, physical fitness, all of that is important.
Well if am right the way you're covering your face is wrong you only show your eyes without forehead and eyebrows and you have to cover your hand legs body etc
