That’s some vague talk. Most people aren’t opportuned to have a head start in life. I worked my a** off and paid attention to my finances and most importantly, got into the trade market too with Hestrel. I can’t say I haven’t been pleased with the outcome of my investments with him. Been using the 4% rule too and reading more so I don’t go back. It’s all about proper management.

I used this tonight on my demo account... The EURGBP was ranging and it took me about 7 hours to complete. I went 13 trades deep on this, but I did completely end up winning my last trade for $181. It works. It takes patience and margin if the market is ranging. One thing I didn't do tonight is that I'm going to combine this on the 1 minute time frame by taking trades only with a (14) RSI over 70 and under 30 to try and increase the chances that it doesn't range for very long. I believe this is the long term strategy I've been looking for to make daily profits when combined with RSI.
If you want to trade the Eur/gbp, Just make sure you trade it on the Europe open market Hour, That's the hour where the market (usually) Highly Active and that's the time where the market started to form a trend..

Hello Traders, I use this exact strategy for over 1 year now and so far so good, but the REC zone of 5 pips is small. I have tested my set up for more than 6 months first in order to make it as safe as possible so I am comfortable with the amount of orders that might be open, I mean MAX orders and to make sure that you have enough funds to cover those. It is tricky but possible. I have done it and still use it today. Thanks

@@felipk3217 Hi, I will decline to tell you my exact specifications, however I will give you some points that are important so by testing with different values you can see different results and different RISK. 1. 20 pips for the zone is very narrow is not enough. 2. It depends on the pair-less volatile pairs needs smaller range but other bigger. 3. I trade on H1, so figure out which time frame you want to use and start testing, because this range is very important for your RISK. 4. Narrow range means more open orders, which means more RISK, more profits. Start with how much funds do you have and work from there. Ask more questions if you'd like. Thanks
This could be very difficult to execute as the spreads alone could trigger these before you have the chance to alter the lot sizes, I would recommend doubling the zone and TP areas to give you time.

@@manbogdan6436 the trick here is execution. If you buy high and sell low, you can have crazy slow poor execution, and this is key_ catch the market in a seriously small spread phase from a taper, and take more profit of small spread than normal instantaneous scalps.
The risk is simple, during entry you must enter in a normal scalp position with a high sale and a low buy, but if during entry you mess up and can't get the next position in in time, you must exist the losing side immediately, and wait to do the losing position until you get a little higher, and you must enter the oposite side either immediately, or not at all, and wait for a new low.
This entry execution is paramount or this strategy will eventually lose.

How do I reach her
I support your this strategy, but I think it must find the good entry point, to make sure: the price must run one way after some wires (orders).
Because if not (in case of sideway period), it will blow your account. Or you can limit orders and then to cut one by one.
That is KEY to make this strategy PROFITABLE.
However, the main state of forex market is sideway ~70%, trend state is less than 30%, I think DCA is better than hedge.
I use combination of hedge and DCA: hedge is when ADX strong, otherwise is DCA.
Both DCA and hedge (like your video), they need to follow trend to increase win rate.

That's true most people today have been having a lot of failures in forex and crypto sector because of poor orientation and bad experts
I've been making some few loses, can you please introduce me to your broker?
In 2006 we created an EA which run this thing automatically. We did let it run on 12 pairs. It was working, until it wasn't and then the accounts went dead. This strategy works based on the martingale principle and is nearly guaranteed to kill your accounts. Not today, not tomorrow not next month but one day. Be VERY careful if you need to rely on this strategy to feed u. I am a trader since the days you had to call your broker to place a trade and finding out the damage this can do was pretty scaring, cause it was working REALLY well .... until it wasn't.

i use moving average on only 2 currency pairs and its always ahead. the parameter is set on moving average crosses on only these currencies ( GBPUSD, EURUSD). Remember its a trend strategy and should be used for only trending currencies like ( GBPUSD, EURUSD).
A 10 period and 50 period, Exponential Moving Average on your chart. Then, wait until the two EMA’s compress together and begin to fan out. I normally use white color for 10 Ema period and red for 50 Ema period.
If the 10 period EMA (white) fans out on top of the 50 period EMA(red), then price is trending up (buy signal).
On the other hand, if the 10 period EMA(white) fans out below the 50 period EMA (red), and the 50 EMA (red)is below then price is trending down.(sell signal)
Then i add a special Indicator as filter to trade. its helps me filter out ranging markets. with this simple pattern you can make over 120% within 7 months on your trade on each currency pair( GBPUSD, EURUSD) with minimum drawdown. pls don't use it on ranging markets. I have proof of it, i can show backtest. Its best when you turn it to an EA (robot) that way you will never miss any trade.

Sounds great. Do you filter using one of the more common indicators (MACD, RSI) or something more unique? I've found Aroon and Momentum to be useful, but they don't sound as accurate as this one

I think it's the same as either buying or selling and when it goes against you increasing the position until it eventually makes a profit. There's really no point in opening both a buy and a sell, just take a calculated guess which way it's more likely to trend and take a position in that direction. You're actually just wasting more on spreads and/or commissions by having both positions at the same time. if you are inexperienced, Get the help of a licensed professional to teach help you, It is not as easy as these videos make it look
Finally seen a comment of someone who know what he is talking about. Aside the macro/micro environment, Overlays, Oscillator & pivot point all matter. it's incredibly difficult for an inexperienced person to be profitable. you are just throwing away your money.

Yes, indeed.. this strategy won't last long when market is flat.. it need trend market, so you need another strategy, at least, to avoid the 'sideways' which I can say, almost impossible to avoid them. One long sideways can bring your drawdown in huge risk because it will open more than 7 orders. For example, in 2019.01.11 17 : 05 (check on EURUSD chart), if you follow the rules, you will end up with 7 buy stop and 7 sell stop (total 14 orders) before hit profit on last sell stop which we don't know what is the lot size for the rest of stop order..

First I wanna say thanks for the content, I find very insightful and well made. With that being said I think there isn't a 100% strategy simply because the market is constantly changing, in other words, it goes from high volatility to low volatility and from ranges to trends. The concept is sound though and that's why the guru will make more money selling the strategy rather than using the strategy himself to generate profits.

hy, im a 43 old trader, my initial plan was this , never loss theoretically strategy BUT sadly its not really working! the markets are ranging 80% and u keep contrahedging until u get super loss in 6...8 open positions and its no way out the minus gets bigger and bigger with each pos open............. this looks amazing in theory! i wanted to get the lamboo :) with this one :) but sadly no lamboo soon

Scalping the d forex market for the retail trader is the first road to failure, you can't compete in speed and reaction with algorithms or EAs, plus your broker will mess you up with fees, spread and slippage.
Many small profits can be easily compounded into large gains if strict stop losses are used to prevent losses. Are you saying we should stop scalping?

It is not the same as buying and selling. Keeping the trades on sells and buys reduces the lots needed for new positions. In the case of ranging market when you have lots of trades, you will have both losing and winning trades. The winning trades minus losing trades will give not too big losses

Trading Strategy Testing the problem is in a range market it will keep opening trades. At some point the lot will big and margin will be required. Similar to martingale
Yes exactly, well the success of this strategies relies on anticipating a strong trend or spike.
Trading Strategy Testing look at gbpusd stuck within 10 pips for the last 80 minutes. You know how many time it would have open during that 80 min? And we are during new york market hours. You never know when market is volatile. All indicator are late so you can’t use them for volatility detection. Forget about this strategy. Its not new its known strategy and if it was working the banks will ban it
Here's a few simple fixes for this:
1. Trading in specific times where volatility is high, say London or NY session on a small enough (or large enough) time frame
2. Once you reach a point where your account is low on spare capital, close a few positions or the entire trade at a loss/profit. Won't be a solid 100% win rate but I'll take a 90 or even 80% win rate any day of the week
3. Use a broker that provides a high leverage, like 500 or 1000x or more. The higher the better. Also, use initial lot sizes that are small enough per your account so that once positions start to grow in size, you can keep up long enough for things to play out in your favor.
I've been trading for 4 years now and I have yet to see a strategy that doesn't fail sometime. With that said 90 ➕ % is achievable
No strategy has a 100%. The best traders have a winning rate of 50-60 percent. I even know a trader who is profitable with a 20% winning rate

I have something similar. Its close to 60 percent winning rate with a 1R vs 2TP. I trade 30 minutes,1h and 4h. I started as scalper but switched very quick in to long term trading. One thing I noticed ever since I started to trade 1h (long term charts) my winning rate increased drastically.
On my other broker account I have a 30% winning rate and I am still very profitable due my higher TP rate. With that account I trade more short term and have more trades overall.

It only takes a few positions and there's a great drawndown. I tested many EA from mlq5 with hegde and martingle. It always ends up with an account cleaning unless you can cut losses manually, but hardly anyone does.
It will 100% win strategy if you can monitor the trade all the time to set buy stop/sell stop if the price move sideways. Not suitable to trade thru mobile phone. Good share.

interesting strategy
I have made its EA. It performed well in backtest but now I am testing it on live demo account.
The important things that I kept in my mind during development of EA is
1) Avoid the ranges as it may wipe the account.
2) I am using the zero spread account with low commission
3)The trade should end with in a day because during the start of next day the spreads become crazy and it will be difficult to manage it.
4) I made it specifically for EURUSD keeping in view the commissions so that at the end of the day we stay in profit

@@anoghwaheed2823 Bro! Actually it failed because the hedging with increasing lot size is very dangerous approach. It is like one wrong trade and your complete account is washed. Drawdown is very much.
I have used this strategy long time ago. It’s really good strategy, but not so good as it looks. This strategy good only when trend is strong. If price goes sideway and this sideway in the area of “price zone”, you can loose big one. I’m made my account 10 times bigger in 1 month, but lose it in one week.

To make long story shorter...
First of all I was trade GBP.JPY with R/R R4. Risk 20 pips to make 80 pips. Every time it was going wrong direction I was double position size on the opposite side. But there is few rules that you should know.
1. You should start doubling position after 3 times you go wrong
2. You can double position only 7 times. Then it’s starting to be not profitable

Hey can also explain how you choose the lot sizes. I am testing the strategy out and the market hit my buy stop and sell stop 6 times now. So I have 6 positions running. What is the lot size for the 8th, 9th ... time the the market hits the stops. And how do I calculate them?

We are discussing this situation in part 2 of this strategy testing series, if you are using a commission based account, the account might be exhausted quite fast due to the accumulation of commission. Thus, the strategy is definitely not successful when the market is consolidating which is why we choose to trade a high volatility pair. When we bought the strategy from the guru, he has mentioned that we should exit all the trades if the market kept consolidating so we can clearly understand that this strategy works best when the market is at a spike or channel and fails when the market is consolidating.

You will see that the stops are hit almost 11 times before the market pushes up.
I also understand that I should lock my profits early when the opportunity presents itself. The problem is that once both the buy stop and sell stop are hit you have no other option other than waiting for the market to hit the tp which also act as sl.

I am interested to know the purpose of trading GBP against AUD as the two currencies tend to correlate most of the time, maybe you were leveraging on the hawkish RBA reports that made a spectacular uptrend during the 14th Asian session especially against the NZD, but I would love to know your reasoning behind the choice of pair. On the other hand, GBP pairs were mostly bulleting this week especially from the 11th onwards due to the positive CDP figures and unemployment rates for the month. usually when there are two currencies performing well due to fundamentals, there are bigger chances for a consolidation or channel price movements.
I went through the chart and I can see some well-structured trends that have been formed yesterday (14th), but the price was consolidating at the opening of the London session which is the time when you entered the market I believe, that zone looks like a perfect pullback that followed the Asian session spike (15m). I think the strategy would have worked just fine afterwards but based on the entry price you have given me; things must be different if you lock your gains especially when the breakup happened by 11 AM (London time).
