Adam, my friend those look great. I hope life is treating you well and you are having a great weekend. Take care my friend and God Bless You and Yours.
Thanks man! Its some good stuff for sure, so long as you can manage the heat! I wish the water had been cleaner or the shots better at the lake... that thing was glinting and throwing off ALL KINDS of light - pretty awesome.
I’m 65 years old, I remember fishing motor oil flutter tail worm’s when I was a teenager, WoW 🤩 You done Kicked it up a Notch, That’s Awesome, The Bluegrass also turned out Great, Thanks for Sharing
I still have some 29 yr old half bag of 100 ring tail Motor oil worms 🪱 cuz at the time they were the shanizzell !! This reminds me to pull some out and put them in the tackle bag 😎
Oh man, those are great colors in the baits. The bluegrass w/ the color shift glitter would be awesome with a laminate of monkey milk with siren scales for the bottom color in a little ned bait!
Amen! I had forgotten about that color... there's a nice Sawgrass (more green) and Fools Gold (a green-gold) that are killer too! All of those would be amazing with some siren scales and MM!
Ha!! I just ordered some of Barlows chameleon glitter, including the motor oil. Hmm...didn't know about the heat limit. Might be a problem when reheating.
Need to be careful with it, yup... or just plan on a single shot. Of course, if you don't mind the change in colors, additional colors from the heat, maybe its not bad thing?! I hope you enjoy using it!
Such a hard choice between the two! Depending on saturation, I kinda lean toward CTT in cleaner water and MO in stained... at least then you don't have to choose!
That’s a very nice colour! What about a matte finish motor oil, brown and green pumpkin craw. Motor oil claws, legs and have the colours throughout the bait camo style?
Interesting comparison of the impact of temperature changes. As I watched I was wondering how you clean the injecting pump and other equipment used in the building process? I’m relatively new to your channel. Have you ever done a video on “cleanup”? Thanks.
Thanks man! I have not done a video like that, but thats primarily because its pretty straight forward. Most guys, I would imagine, use a "Bottle Brush" (as I do), disassemble the injector, and run the brush through a few times. Wipe off any leftovers and put it back together! Easy-peasy. Hope this helps!
NP! That’s a “Cheese Spreader” from Amazon :) I like em because they don’t have “ridges” like a butter knife… that always left streaks on the side of the cup.
You can get going with under $100 assuming you find a used microwave at a thrift store, buy some less expensive silicon open pour molds (no need for injectors, hot plate, etc) and get just 1 color, maybe some flake. Fair warning though... few... VERY few... stay there. You get addicted after the first batch and before you know it your triple injecting the latest Epic Bait Mold release, LOL!
I do indeed! sdgcustomlurecraft.com I’m making baits in “drops” now, so feel free to join the mailing list to get notified when the next drop goes lives. Thanks!
Hello I Have a Question If You Don't Mine You Made a Lead Jig Mold Pouring Video And You Sprayed / Coating It With a Heat Resistant Spray I Can Not Find The Video Can You Tall Me What The Name Of The Video Is Or Tell Me The Name Of The Spray Thanks So Much
If it’s the spray I’m thinking of it’s not meant for heat purposes… I apply it to improve the flow of the lead and to help remove the heads easier. The spray is called “Drop Out”. You can find it on Amazon. Mainly used for pouring your own ammunition, but works for other uses of lead as well (like jigs).
I Love Barlowstackle bt these flakes chameleon are all From Hobby Lobby and i can Prove it they are all The same Flakes that Color Shift Hobby lobby has Pls Look at all of them and you will Find 2 of them From The hobby lobby video that you posted a few months ago
I saw, maybe, a couple similarities, but (at least IMO) thats because there are classic colorshift colors that everyone does (just color combos that always work well together). Having owned a bunch (almost all) of the HB shift glitter, I didn't see (or at least remember) any repeats here, but who knows. I'm just glad they have a line now, thats pretty cool!
So....do you just have HR send your paycheck to Barlow's directly or are you on an installment plan? You're gonna have to stop showing us all these awesome lure colors, I'm pretty sure lusting after a soft plastic glitter color is strictly prohibited somewhere in Deuteronomy 😂 Good video, that's an awesome addition to motor oil👍
Oh, boy, that's a slick motor oil flake. Get it? Slick? Oil? Oil slick? Hee hee!!
I see whatcha did there, mmhhmmmm!
Yeah, I know it was REALLY bad.

Those look sweet! Barlow's did a good job with the color shift glitter!

Wow!!!! The colors that reflect off that glitter is awesome!!! Incredible work Adam!!!!
Some of the shiniest stuff I've seen in the water, pretty crazy to see that - even stained! Thx Dan!
Old school motor oil with a new shimmer is my favorite. Great build.
Pretty darn hard to beat! Thanks Lee!
The depth of color on the Bluegrass is amazing! Nice job!
It really is something! Thx man!

Adam that looks good going to get me some, The effects your going to get with the Flake in different baits.....
Thanks man! Definitely a ton of potential with this stuff!
Really enjoyed the demo, Adam. I don't know if I like motor oil or cutthroat trout the best. My two favorites for sure.
Such a hard choice between the two! Depending on saturation, I kinda lean toward CTT in cleaner water and MO in stained... at least then you don't have to choose!
Amazing once again. I absolutely love watching these videos. I’m getting closer and closer to diving into plastics thanks to you!

Thanks man, that sounds very cool!
Anxiously awaiting the next drop, maybe I'll be quick enough to grab something this time.
It’s right around the corner!

Do you mind my asking where you got your little metal spatula doohickey you use to stir your plastics

Lookin good bud!
Thanks man!
You killin me with these lately. You wanna buy a boat so I can buy these ingredients? 😂
LOL, the struggle is real!
HOw much would you say it costs to get started. Just one basic bait with one color?
Get started in worm making?
