I just started not caring and using pedals labeled "bass" this or that because I want my bottom end to stay beefy even when it's running through stuff. Everything seems to manage all my "treble" guitar stuff just fine, so I just buy what sounds good and I noticed a bit ago I ended up with a good percentage of bass pedals and amps even though it's not in my primary loadout slot (that would be F horn, followed by guitar). Bass is in my melee slot, for obvious reasons lol
Kyle. Love the channel!! Keep up the good work!!! You help people more than you know! It would be cool to see how the SLO module goes up against the real SLO Amp.
The Peavey Crunch sound really is VERY Marshall-y - apparently they were even known as “Mississippi Marshalls” for a time Boosting a Peavey Crunch channel with the gain at about 7 is one of my favorite tones out there
Both the Uber and Powerball module also have the switches. As far as not being spot on, the power amp can't be spot on to every other amps power amp. But I ran the Powerball module through my other guitar players Powerball II head, and switching between the 2, we couldn't tell which was which.
This is the marketing strategy for these brands. They can put their product in front of tens to hundreds of thousands of fans all at once with a detailed niche demo of it. I would’ve never heard of this thing if not for this or other GuitarTuber demos.
Hey, Kyle, great video, thumbs up! Question 1: Which one has tighter high gain: this, or the Ubershall module? Question 2: Which one has less compressed and more dynamic high gain: this, or the Uberschall module? And how about doing a video comparison of both? ;) Thank you and rock on, dude!
Sounds great. I want one, but I only want the 6505 module, so the $1,000 entry price (module and tabletop preamp incl taxes) just doesn't make sense for my situation..
Peavey has got to be the most bashed and most loved guitar and amp company ever. I can say that I wasn't expecting this but being a fan of the Synergy platform (I could upgrade my Alchemist to an Uberschall!) I bet there are a *lot* of people who were either waiting or also super happy for this to happen. Say what you want, but Peavey is its own sound and vibe; if it reaches in and tickles your spine who am I to judge? I was going to save all the demo videos for this weekend but I couldn't wait lol now I'm into the playlist - you were first, though! Disclaimer: I have an a$$load of vintage Peavey guitars and basses lol like over 30 - didn't plan it, but it just ended up that way. I need to sell most of them (space issues) but how can I let go of my babies? HOW???
I was looking for an Egnater Tourmaster for a long time but they've gone up and all the rough looking 500 buck pawn shop diamonds have dried up...Bruce worked on the power sections for these, initially, and once everyone realized their amps were being cloned onto the platform by partitioning the designs to lop off the preamps and spin them into the modular form factor. I think you can even buy an empty preamp module chassis to make your own, or people are doing it anyhow, so, that's likely online.
Absolutely correct on the assessment of Synergy users - or, at least, me. I can't stand, let alone play gigs at this point in time. I'm relegated to doing my thang in the studio, and my musical tastes and playing is all over the spectrum. Therefore, something like the Synergy 2-slot rackmount and 50-50 power amp would be ideal for what I need... versatility and great tone. The 6505 and the Bogner Uberschall are on my list for high gain, the IICP because I'm a Master Of Puppets dork, and the Synergy OS and Morgan AC for clean tones... Who TF am I kidding? I'm gonna collect them all, like some kind of Tone Pokémon. Please keep demoing those modules!!!
How would you say the bass and resonance response is on this module compared to an actual peavey 5150? Does it match? Very curious if this module thumps in the bass section like the original.
What... are you saying you didn't buy a UA Volt interface last month? Totally agree. There's promotion, there's advertising, and then there's just shoving a firehouse down our throats. ... I've been choking too. I will say this for the advertisers out there though. As of right now Kyle is my favorite demo guy. He dials damn near the exact tones I dial in and doesn't waste my time on lame tones. Like rectos with the treble on zero thing. Not for most, but definitely for me... especially bad even more raw with a boost. I boost channel 3 on my savage too, but everyone shits on channel 3.
Micheal Neilsen. Pete Thorn John Browne. Fluff or Flubb Ryan bruce Leon Todd Jamie Slays Jeff Loomis Kyle Bull Mendel Bj De lij All NINE videos drop within hours. All follow a similar script. Not hatin' just sayin. Synergy is getting close to Neural in paid for marketing.
They have NDA's (non-disclosure agreements) with these UA-camrs. They usually get the gear at least a couple weeks ahead of the product release date. That way they can get familiar with the features and have a video ready to drop when the date arrives.
Dude, I need this box! How many watts is it? Does it have a sweet spot? Is it transgender friendly? Would Dylan Mulvaney approve? Covid compatible? Can it get Eddy's "Smells like teen spirit" tone? Asking for a friend
I think it boils down to how they're being run. I run a Syn-1 into a Fryette Power Station 2 into a Mesa Recto 2x12 cabinet and it sounds massive with killer low end.
If you were just going to get the one preamp module, then yes, it would be more expensive to buy the preamp and the SYN1. However, the point of this system is to have the option of having multiple preamps. That's where it gets EXPENSIVE. Still, it's a whole lot less than buying each separate amp individually and saving a whole shitload of space, as well.
I love that you’re including 7 strings in your videos now I primarily play them in my band it gives me a good frame of reference 🤘🏼

10:17 coming in with the comeback kid style riffs, love it.
Dang, that Synergy stuff is really legit!! Nice. Your Gibson sounded really good with that setup. 👍
Sounds great. Also love seeing that Soldano behind you (my fav amp).
Dude, best video I've seen on this today. Stellar job. As soon as I get drunk enough I'm ordering one. I'll use your link, if I remember. Cheers!
I've never really gave these much thought, but you have that thing sounding pretty damn good, color me intrigued
Kyle. Love the channel!! Keep up the good work!!! You help people more than you know!
It would be cool to see how the SLO module goes up against the real SLO Amp.
Great demo!! This will be the 6th module for my Synergy rig. They definitely nailed it on this one.
Sweet water must send all the gear review UA-camrs the same gear at the same time. Fluff just released his video. Always great to compare. 🤘
Cranking that crunch channel gain really gives me some JCM 800 vibes.
The Peavey Crunch sound really is VERY Marshall-y - apparently they were even known as “Mississippi Marshalls” for a time
Boosting a Peavey Crunch channel with the gain at about 7 is one of my favorite tones out there
I see you with the 'Feathers' riff my guy.
OMG, that sound !!
Maybe my favorite sound in a test
With the 7 strings 😍
Flawless tone, holy cow!
That cathode thing is indeed present on most (if not all) Synergy modules; it's a great option to have.
Oh my lord when the 7 string came on..... oh dear thats lovely
Also I have that orange overdrive your using on my board. Pair it with an EAE halberd, it rips
Both the Uber and Powerball module also have the switches. As far as not being spot on, the power amp can't be spot on to every other amps power amp. But I ran the Powerball module through my other guitar players Powerball II head, and switching between the 2, we couldn't tell which was which.
I think all of the other modules except the Fryettes have the cathode switch.
Good job man. Is the Syn 30 loud enough for band use?
wow looks like theres a big promotion push on this, every metal youtuber released their own version of this video on the same day
Oh yeah, same thing happened when they released the Fryette stuff.
This is the marketing strategy for these brands. They can put their product in front of tens to hundreds of thousands of fans all at once with a detailed niche demo of it. I would’ve never heard of this thing if not for this or other GuitarTuber demos.
I am definitely getting this one.
Great demo. How’s did you stop all the feedback?

There seems to be weird sound artifacts going behind aggressive lower string playing with high gain.
Ya that cathode switch is on my HBE,Powerball and Savage , but not on my Deliverance module .
The synergy seems interesting my invest and grab me all the different modules for it
Sounds great. I want one, but I only want the 6505 module, so the $1,000 entry price (module and tabletop preamp incl taxes) just doesn't make sense for my situation..
Sounds fantastic
Really curious what kind of sound it would have through an ENGL cab
The pedal goes to the back in the fx loup????
This or a 6505 MH? I don't know. thanks
I like the Coheed Feathers riff
I love that thing. Good vid.
Man that guitar is dope I want one.

I'm sorry, you're going to do WHAT??!!
@@TheWookWife Nothing at all, Love! And PLEASE don't look in the studio room...!
Yes the cathode is on most
Just absolutely rips 🤘
How would you say the bass and resonance response is on this module compared to an actual peavey 5150? Does it match? Very curious if this module thumps in the bass section like the original.
That sounds good ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
I need this module.
Hi from France 🙋🏻♂️🇫🇷 !! Have all an amazing day 😊
I love my PT Hybrid.
Sounds pretty dope
very cool, thanks
if only one could set the 3 way switch per channel, so you can get more tone
My whole feed is full of videos about this. I wonder why they blow their whole wad in one go instead of spreading it out a bit.
What... are you saying you didn't buy a UA Volt interface last month?

Was that a have heart riff?
Is the syn 30 loud enough to play with a drummer?
Dude! I NEED IT
Micheal Neilsen.
Pete Thorn
John Browne.
Fluff or Flubb Ryan bruce
Leon Todd
Jamie Slays
Jeff Loomis
Kyle Bull
Mendel Bj De lij
All NINE videos drop within hours. All follow a similar script.

Sounds good nonetheless
That’s a WCR Crossroad bridge! I know cuz I sold ya that one.
You don’t NEED it, but you want it.
Ahh yes that fizzy, high tensil, mashed up “METAL” sound. We all love from our teens. Tied up in a little box.
Appreciate your time Kyle.
Dude, I need this box! How many watts is it? Does it have a sweet spot? Is it transgender friendly? Would Dylan Mulvaney approve? Covid compatible? Can it get Eddy's "Smells like teen spirit" tone? Asking for a friend
Where the slime live
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick
Fucking rips with a boost. Wow.
Not a fan of the low-end on these Synergy modules
I think it boils down to how they're being run. I run a Syn-1 into a Fryette Power Station 2 into a Mesa Recto 2x12 cabinet and it sounds massive with killer low end.
Sounds sick. But i don't want to buy the rack to use it. The first sound you got was really nice...on my phone😢
You could probs get a real 6505 for less than this module. So its kinda useless to me
If you were just going to get the one preamp module, then yes, it would be more expensive to buy the preamp and the SYN1. However, the point of this system is to have the option of having multiple preamps. That's where it gets EXPENSIVE. Just go buy a 5150, damn.
Probably less expensive?
Meh, reckon a 6505mh sounds more authentic
Its an all tube amp emulation
