    I need feedback on the diagram. What did you guys think? Lay it on me please!

      Just drawing the kitchen, net and a partial centerline was a little confusing at first. I think if you drew the entire court, it would be obvious what you were doing right away. I did quickly understand what you were drawing, but there was that initial “huh?” moment (seconds). Thank you for taking the time to create helpful content. I enjoy your videos.

      I think that the abbreviated diagram was a perfect illustration of the advantages of hitting this shot. I am a relative beginner, but it makes perfect sense, to me.

      @@bd3952 Agreed. Would have sped up recognition if you'd pointed out which line represented the net. Got if eventually but at first it wasn't clear what was what

    I have used this technique for hundred times but hit to the net 99%. After one year of playing pickleball, it finally gets over the net 😂

    Great disguise in your low-key setup. The opponent would not likely expect to be passed by your shot, so it’s deceptive as well. I like your explanation on how to deliver the topspin on one’s dominant side. Thanks for the great video! 💎❤️

      I am a big time spin player. The way to counter a spin, is to watch the holes on the ball. The ball will tell you exactly which way it is spinning. If you watch the holes you will know exactly which way it's going to shoot when it hits and you can counter it.

    Why would anyone hit a third shot drop to a forehand? You should drop to the backhand

    • @devotedpickleball
      @devotedpickleball Рік тому +1

      You have to be careful about the backhand, too close to the side line and they can Erne your drop. This happens a lot at high levels. You hardly see a pro drop to the backhand for that reason.

    All the advice I've seen teaches that one should stop and split step as ones opponent is about to hit the ball. Your video seems to assume that one is playing against an opponent that doesn't know this basic teaching of the split step.
