  • “Failure is a tool for success.” Rebecca Goeckeritz was paralyzed in an auto-pedestrian accident when she was fifteen months old. She shares a unique story from her childhood when she was asked by physical therapists to use braces rather than a wheelchair. To have confidence she could always get herself back up, Becca and her mother practiced falling on walks near their home. Through scrapes and tears Becca learned that it was ok to fail at times. But if she kept trying, she could be successful in whatever she desired.

Wow. And now I’m in tears. That was beautiful. And I want so much to be more like her mom! It’s so hard to watch kids fail but so important for them. ❤️

I loved this! Great filmmaking! I don't know a thing about filmmaking, but as I was watching it, I was like, "this is really well-made!" I think it's one of those things that you do so well that it looks magical and effortless, but it's really just that you're an expert at doing all the difficult things that it takes to make a film like this. Beautiful! And a wonderful inspiring story, of course.
