My 8 year old autistic daughter loves this song so much. My husband was the one who listened to Space Song and she explored more of their songs and found this one. She bops her head from left and right, it’s so cute and she raises her arm. It makes me teary eyes that she has music she can emotionally connect to. She self-taught playing the drums and she can play the drum with the song for 15 seconds. It’s so cute!

This is the song which first made me fall in love with Beach House.
October 2010: a windy autumn afternoon, walking through the falling leaves, with Teen Dream on my headphones. This song I listened to on repeat. It's one of those rare songs which lets the tears flow yet still soothes the soul.

I hear you as well. My experience with this song in particular and Beach House's music as a whole is nearly identical. Every album, every track, nearly every note of their oeuvre ties into a personal memory, a collection of individual moments for me. Most took place in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma. I don't live there any longer. A large chunk of myself is still back there, driving all throughout the city, windows rolled down, Beach House sounding loudly in the air.

I first heard of them in summer 2010 when they opened for Vampire Weekend. I had no idea who they were but the performance stuck and I fell in love with this album. It's so beautiful. Truly gives me some great (and sad) memories.

When you put so much passion and truth in something, you get beach house; can't find a bad song from them.
This song is absolutely beautiful. My uncles wife gave up on him when he started dying from a disease (Im not sure which disease) and left thinking he was just gonna die in the end. He survived, but she was still gone with another man, and it was a heartbreaking story. He showed me this song and told him how much it calmed him and made him feel better. Hes happy right now, and that makes me happy. Anyone struggling with something hard, I promise it will get better, everything will be ok and soon youll find peace in your life. Just remember all the bad things happening will slip away from your mind if you remember good will come and stay by your side. I hope for anyone in pain to be cured and feel better soon. Life is beautiful but unexpected things happen.

What is really great and ironic about this song is that when the man that promised me the world dumped me on my birthday I spent a great deal of time after that walking through the parks alone. Really is the perfect song for that experience.

When I was in college, I would de-stress by going swing at the park at night. Normally I was alone but this group of freshmen came a couple of times. Pretty sure they were tripping because I overheard one of them saying "I feel so meta right now". I recognized one of them from one of my communication classes (I was a senior, I was late to take the class). Anyways, so I overheard them talking about this band. I didn't realize until now how ironic it was that I mentioned this song as I got off to leave lol. Interesting memories.

Well … you know, you can't prove a subjective opinion wrong. If it's your best one, so be it. For me, it's definitely up there, but I'd have Slowdive's Souvlaki on top, with a couple of releases from both Fishmens and Cocteau Twins around the same mark as this album.

this song personally represents someone who fell apart after an unexpected heartbreak and they promised each other eternal love and they were depressed and slowly is building themselves us and finally accepting all the hurting and all the trauma and betrayal that person gave them and without realizing they're slowly letting the person go after everything it hurts but its worth it bc they deserve it.

My sister got the flu and then her heart stopped days later and soon with lots of swelling and blood clots her leg wasn’t getting blood flow, her heart stopped 2 more times after that now here I am today her with severe brain damage that she can not recover from due to cpr and lost her right leg yesterday. This is and Space Song are the only songs that comfort me because she loved Beach House so I was playing it in the hospital for her and I found myself sobbing next to her
