I really loved Lili’s acting in this movie, I was dying to see her act in something really touching - don’t get me wrong she was amazing in Riverdale and Hustlers, but this movie fit her perfectly and she really got to showcase her beautiful acting skills.

This is my first time hearing this song, and it's after a having a heartfelt conversation with someone I adore, but it didn't go as I had hoped. That's okay, I am not heartbroken but rather content. Based on what I've read of the comments, I suppose it makes sense to fall in love with this music while falling in love with an actual person. I'm no different. I was introduced to their music by a woman I was starting to see and who I was beginning to have romantic feelings for, even though I don't think either one of us really knew one another or trusted each other enough. However, she was the first woman I developed feelings for after my one long meaningful relationship that ended three or four years before I met her. So Beach House, particularly their album Devotion, represented that heart break and longing to love this woman, or perhaps more vaguely, another spirit. I still come back to their music now in remembrance of that sad but beautiful place of the heart, losing one's self in dreams and vague but powerful hopes.

i remember falling asleep to this in the dark of night, in our minivan, on the highway, not thinking much of it..
now i’m a teenager struggling with mental illness and understanding her sexuality, her love for women. being a young lesbian girl in a world of confusion. crying for no reason at all. this song makes me feel some sort of yearning, heartbreak, and mystification. it reminds me of the young girl i was and the one i am now. so much has changed yet the world around me stays the same.

I put it on repeat the first time I heard it, and by the third time, the tears ran down my face so hard. This song, in the most heartbreakingly beautiful way, reminds me of Jude and the love that everyone has for him. It's just one of those songs that fills your heart and makes you reflect on your sad moments in life. Sad moments like a failed marriage and losing your kids, your dad getting killed in a trucking accident. I've been through it, it's rough but you get through it.
