My favorite part of your katana builds is placing the menuki (the little notch that holds the blade in.) It's so satisfying to see the blade come together and have that final touch to keep it together.
The craziest part, the hilt actually uses the basis of a lot of actual forge techniques. He didn't need to give an accurate tang and handle, likely didn't _really_ need the peg (forget the proper term) in the handle.

Sorry this is probably wayyyyy too late. If the handle is too tight then simply cut off more material. But if the handle is too loose then add a slip of some sort of material (maybe printing paper or thicker paper or cloth). Add that slip to where the handle should go (so on the tang) if it is still too loose then add a thicker material

僕も作ってみたけど、それとわかるだけのパチモンが出来た。
この人の工作能力は本当にすごいと思う。
あと他にも自作したい人がこのコメントを見ているのなら、掴まきの巻き方や、A4で作る場合の刀身の結合の仕方などを別で調べることをオススメする。僕はしないでやったのでそれはもう酷いのができた。
あと木の棒は、竹串か割り箸をダンボールと組み合わせたら代用できた。
