I'm from Australia , thank you for helping me understand the BhagavadGita better , In our country our only culture is materialism , football , meat pies , kangaroos and holden cars , put another shrimp on the barbie...we live in a cultural desert...that's why it's a mess..people are lost.. The Bhagavadgita , Mahabharata..thank you for putting meaning into my life... I share my knowledge with my friends..they don't know what to make of me..

Hello can someone explain to me what they mean by sacrfice like how you give back to what has been given to you .what should someone do ?
In one of the books on Geeta , I read that by sacrifice they mean selfless service to humanity , to the universe. A karmayogi is one who focuses on work not for his own happiness and luxury but for the greater universe. Like the poor man in Assam who grew an entire forest or the woman in Maharashtra who runs an orphanage for abandoned children. You see such people in many walks of life

Lust is any desire which is excessive be it lust for money, lust for food, lust for sex, lust for power and fame.... You can see such individuals in today's society who are only driven by lust...
One example , see the political situation of this country...you will see how lust is at play
