I love hearing Freddie's voice again. Give me this over Lambert's broadway voice any day. Sorry Queen, but Marc Martel is amazing at nailing the way your songs should be sung. Thanks for sharing. Can hardly wait to see these guys in Vancouver in May!
@@apokab6453 No, I really don't. It's only my humble opinion and preference. Of course, since Freddie 's voice fronted the songs originally and is one of the reasons they did so incredibly well - that is still what I and many other Queen fans would absolutely prefer to hear. Nothing wrong with more than one opinion, and I respect yours too.
@@Leander_ Ah sure, what do Roger Taylor and Brian May know compared to Baboshka and Patti Miller. They have just founded the band and wrote a big part of the songs, no big deal.
Had to chuckle a bit when Marc asks if anyone has been following Queen since their early days, and then makes them all feel a bit old by saying this song was released before he was born. "You guys are so cool!"
Not to ruin the moment, but it seems Marc got his facts wrong. He was born in 1976, it says so when you look him up, and Radio Ga Ga came out in the 80s.

The audience always come to life at the end....lol..Marc has said this, along with standing ovations, no matter how boring the audience is. Part of the trouble I think is the seating. People are often told to sit down by people behind them when they get up to rock out in these venues, which is really unfortunate as Queen music is meant for standing up to dance and sing along.
@@Dennahz Well, I have seen Queen (with Freddie) 5 times and twice was seated, 3 times standing. There really wasn't any space to dance but we were very involved by singing and shouting! Standing in front of the stage was really awesome, I thought I could touch John (well almost lol).
