    Thanks for a great video series Novritsch! My son and I have been watching you and Jet Desert Fox for some months now. We finally tried airsoft for the first time yesterday. We rented good goggles and face mask and rented a g&g cm16. I had some battery issues but in general it was great renting for the first time. We just wore long sleeve shirts and bdu pants. Next time I will wear a thicker shirt. Overall we had fun and will be going again and now see the benefit of owning your own gun.
    Thanks again for the great videos which were our inspiration to get started. I should say we went to and indoor CQB game and not outdoor like you usually play. We live in California and hope to get out to desert fox airsoft one day soon.

    I am actually playing with 1$ safety goggles (i'm not joking), I shot it with 3+ joule weapons, not even a dent. I got shot in the goggle a couple of times but nothing. The other thing is that it is huge, it covers a huge part from the top of my face. I don't believe in airsoft goggles for 30$ and such...

    I laughed a little when he talked about protecting your fingers. I wore fingerless gloves to my first airsoft game and took a BB straight to the middle section of my pointer finger. There was a lump there for about 5-ish weeks. It wasn't too bad because it was a CQB map with a 350 FPS cap, but listen to that man and get full-finger protection or you will seriously regret it XD

    I like how in the beginning of the video the mention getting some sort of clothing with a hood or something and is nice if it keeps you warm. BRO, I live in Arizona, I don't want something that keeps me warm. This state is probably one of the hottest places on Earth. We have people who die of heat stroke on a daily basis during the summers here. But you probably play somewhere colder so it makes sense for you.

    • @racko32
      @racko32 8 років тому +1

      There are many goggles and full face masks that fit over if you aren't wearing huge glasses. There are also vision correcting inserts you could get for certain goggles. If you aren't sure if something will fit then I suggest going to an airsoft store in person and trying on the goggles or full face mask.

    • @george.w6455
      @george.w6455 8 років тому +4

      And if you would rather be able to wear smaller goggles you could get some contact lenses instead of glases

    • @sparkplug._
      @sparkplug._ 8 років тому +1

      While they aren't as good as actual safety glasses, most prescription glasses have lenses strong enough to resist something like an airsoft bb.

    • @UndercastEsmeganitrospeed
      @UndercastEsmeganitrospeed 8 років тому +2

      But arent allowed on fields.... and they may resist it ONE TIME, and they cost from 300 to 1000€ im sure you want there BBs hitting...

    • @triune_blades
      @triune_blades 8 років тому +1

      Military rated eye pro have adapters that hold prescription lenses. ESS, Revision, and Oakley have them. Look into it. I'm not 100% certain how a civilian has to go about getting a set. I just know they work very nice. I've worn them to the range for hours and they're pretty comfortable. Good luck!

    Looking for a good sniper? JG Bar 10 is amazing 80-100 feet with accuracy. Price is only $130, and easy to upgrade and when you do it can go over 600 fps!

      trust me, Novritsch isn't showing everything there is to it!
      though granted, spring powered snipers are the easiest to take with you, since they require no gas or battery, BUT as a sniper, there's a lot of limitations you're putting on yourself, keep that in mind.

    His boots is the Salomon Quest 4D GTX
    Yes, they are a fantastic pair of boots for airsoft, hiking, outdoor activities, etc. I own a pair of these bad mama jamas and they're absolutely great. Expensive though, expect to drop near $200 on a pair.

      "How to get into airsoft" *recommends $300 gun* "what."
      I'm sure you'll do just fine with a G&G CM for half that.
