the only time we have ever seen Gojo struggle is always when he face his bestfriend, first time is when Geto decided to become a villian, second time is when they reunion. it tells how important Geto is to him, also how close they are that make Gojo so emotional

Geto is and will always be Gojo's strength and weakness. Geto is the embodiment of what Gojo could and would have as a human and not the strongest. be silly, be a teenager, be sad, be happy, be mischivious and be a person like any other. Geto saw him as just 'Gojo Satoru the person' and that's what meant so much to Gojo. no one could ever do it like Geto, the love, the care, the kindness and the betrayal. i think Gojo tries to dismiss the guilt he feels for losing Geto and not reaching out to him at that time. he could neither kill Geto nor run after him. it really showed how Gojo cant process his emotions properly and how he was lacking in understanding what Geto was going through emotionally, which is why he was he was stuck at that place and that day. it's a subtle indication of how he was raised as a child. being pampered and feared and being spoiled that he didn't need to consider other peoples emotions or sadness. (i haven't watch s2 yet so my interpretations can be lacking or wrong. so pls dont mind. i dont have the mental stability to watch s2 w/o crying.)
maybe it eats away every living moment after he killed Geto that he lost the one and only person that valued him just as much as he valued the other. and that he could never have him back. he cant have what they had between them again. they were star crossed soulmates destined to be on opposite ends. tragic really and this animatics really highlighted that.
Kenjaku appearing really shakes Gojo internally. the loss of a person you loved so much showing up to you as a whole new evil is really jarring.
Man i love and hate Gege so much. they made me love the story but hate how ending the characters so tragically.
@@tangerinu_u yes, Geto is the only person that change Gojo, in manga after Gojo death, there's a scene where Gojo see his beloved people, Haibara said that if not for Geto Gojo would be a guy who only care for himself and only use his power to satisfy himself. Even though some people might think that Geto was not strong enough, but seriously Geto have to endure so so much. He was mentioned to born to have a very strong and unique power, but he was not said Talented, which mean he get to same level with Gojo by hard work, that's why he has to eat so many cursed soul, and it's taste horrible. During his hard time, no one was there to save him. I love the way Gege made his story so so understandable, Geto was not suddenly changed, but his heart, his soul, his ideal was distort by time: Amanai death, the ugliness of those clapping people always haunted him, his best friend gets further and further away from him, no friends there for him to express himself, Haibara death make him wonder what if by the end the road will be death of all his beloved people, and later is the ugliness and selfish and stupid of the village people just get on his nerves. What a rich story and so much depth that we understand and feel him so much, I'm not sure if i will not be like him if those happend to me (sure i dont want to kill anyone just by that I wont be able to love and believed in human being).
At first i'm kinda sad when Gojo died, but after I read again the manga the part where he reunion with all people that (who died) he love so much, I somehow think this still a happy ending to him. It makes me goosebump when Nanami said people who choose the South (or north i dont remember sr) will be the old person they are, and look, they all there. Geto, Nanami, Haibara, Amanai, Principle, the Maid, Gojo. They all choose to be the old one that's why they meet there (it's also they r at the airport by mean they will be on the same flight, if someone choose to opposite side at first then... but none of them) I'm so happy for Gojo seriuosly for all of them (poor Shoko anw) when Gojo question the Principle for saying no jujutsu died without regret, because he did not, he is not regret at all, and he said: "Hope this is not a dream". I just burst out to tears cus I feel him so so much, he is not regret, he is happy, his friends are happy, happyending for all of them (to me). Gege is much a master of creating all these emotions and really touch us. Btw I so happy there's someone would care and wrote me so much like this lol

Chapter 261 of the manga, and listening to this is much more sadder, gojo never stoped thinking about geto, he always wanted to be by his side even before or after death.., they really were soulmates...the most twisted curse is love.
It has "delirious" leitmotif, but it doesn't have that air at all. It's a personal core of Gojo that goes beyond strength and his deranged tendencies; it's about tender love, the pain of it's loss and an unwilling reunion.

Everything happening in JJK is so sad now reading the new chapters or watching the episodes feels like a chore ugh
i was replying to you and then the video ended T^T but i just wanted to say that honestly, yeah... i was already spoiled about one d**** but then when the character whose funko pop keychain i JUST BOUGHT and who i have such an attachment with d***, and for no good reason too, i really cried. and if it weren't for my partner, i think i would've dropped the show. but also, I really love Yuuji and Gojo, and I want to see how the story progresses (i'm an anime only for now so i don't know too much past season 2 ep. 20 rn) but i'm really hoping ... it won't be bad...? this reminds me of what i had really wanted to say, which is, i think it's great when a story tries new things or an author wants to bring the audience on some sort of, trip or something ig lol, and deviate from the norm. but the shift in the events of season 2 that correlate with the manga becomes too much of a shift from the original expectation of the tone in the series. just like how attack on titan turned for me, and for many, by season 4, i feel like JJK goes through a similar tonal shift except much sooner ofc. we already knew JJK is not a happy-go-lucky story from the beginning but we're still given a breather here and there, and then it all changes and those breathers all feel stolen by the shibuya incident; there's such a darker shift even if it's a little gradual between the episodes. but like, i'm waiting for some sort of punchline or light at the end of the tunnel if that makes sense. i think im rambling lol -_- but man do I wish i could sit down with the author

it sounds so hypnotic and soothing which could be said the same about how gojo's memories of geto are like, it pulls him away it relaxes him but yet under the soothing melody lies a note that seemingly feels a little out of place in the overall sweet music could also represent how despite inhabiting suguru's body, its not quite suguru. i think the song really captures it well
