@@MrBlessed70I don’t like the FG. Maybe I need to give it more time but I like the WE version better. The civivi is so bottom heavy. Not to mention, mine has some nasty lock stick.
This is an amazing looking knife, the reverse tanto/wharncliffe blade with the addition of the glass breaker makes this knife very appealing for edc. Can’t forget about the plethora of opening options as well.
K110 is a Bohler steel meaning it's a german steel so you know exactly what it is and where it comes from while D2 can come from anywhere and doesn't give you the same assurance of its composition and quality so I think it's a step in the right direction.
@@Dantarios I call those people steel snobs but the obsession with the so called super steels (magnakut is the last one) is a matter of marketing they need to sell knives so they have to convince people they need some special steel that mantains the edge for ever when in reality any knife needs to be sharpened sooner or later and if you have a very hard steel sharpening it is a pain in the rear.
I have the fg and sentinel strike. Both are great. Expect the strike the flipper tab might as well not be there. It barely has any leverage. You must help it flip the blade. Blade steels aren't that big of deal to me on a knife under $100.
Since K110 is so similar to D2, but quite significantly more expensive... why use it instead of D2? What's the advantage? Make the same knife with D2 and you have essentially the same knife, but around $55 instead of $85.
Good review on a disappointing knife. D2 steel, aluminum handle, not for me, and what did they do to the blade shape? Moving the tip up and clipping the warn cliff? This shouldn't even be compared to the Ziffius.
Civivi i know this will never happen but why must you have a giant C on the Pivot on every knife? Anyone ever noticed its always the budget models that puts tramp stamps all over. The strike and alot of models could pass as mid grade higher end knives if they had a beautiful unique pivot screw instead of the same ol black cheap looking black plastic C. People know who Civivi is at this point.
Y’all stoned asf 😂I dig it..cool knives I’m new here been collecting 1 year
Very nice, great presentation from two of my favorite knife guys. Can't wait to get this one in hand!
These are more Sencut level materials. This beauty deserved NitroV or 14c28n, and G10 backspacer over FRN.
That's what I thought too!14c28n would have been awesome on this bad boy.I'm loving the new Vision FG though from Civiviv.
I would've been happy with VG10 or 10cr15

@@tgonzalez1983 Each to their own, man!Alot of people are really liking The FG

I'm so stoked to get my hands on this! I picked the red one!! ❤
I love this sooo much, just needs 14C28N, Nitro-v, or S35VN, and maybe use Carbon Fiber for the handle insert. Maybe a special edition?
Love the idea of an integral carbon fiber backspacer option!
We Knives has one with premium materials including carbon fiber backspacer.
I'm anxious to see this is in a better blade steel in the future. 🤞
Thanks, guys!!
Green blk with Damascus looks great
I'm really loving that blade
Did you ever test the glass breaker?
Please do an Exciton inspired version. Same handle, drop point, with a fuller, 14c28n.
Loving the look of the sentinel strike
I'm definitely loving this one. Looks like an upgraded Serene. Just wish to see better blade steel.
I just picked one up. I like it so much I'm gonna get another so I can dual weild.
😂

Bohler is from Austria
@@jt6648OP is still correct Bohler is a German company that distributes their steels from Austria.
Exactly. Böhler K110 is pretty good stuff. Hate all this bitching about materials 🙄

Is there anyway that I can order the Grey with the Damascus blade ?
I was really excited for this knife. Got one and it’s alright but the flipper is too easy to fail. Did anyone else feel this way?

Love the look of it wish it came in decent steel
I love this knife so far. I hope it gets made with a better stainless steel tho. Not a fan of D2 at all.
What were y'all thinking using FRN as the backspacer?
D2?
Yep!
Böhler K110
@@Dantarios K110 is D2
I dont understand people's issues with D2/k110 😂 its not eafengrow this shit has amazing edge retention because they heat treat it properly
Come on! Why would you use k110?
That's what I thought too!! 14C28N,Nitro V or 154CM would have been better....
Better materials and would be a winner. You can do better
Baki Hanma s knife 👍
love the look, unfortunately too big, way over 3 inch 😞

Pass because of the frn and the blade material. Give us better materials please.
Anyone notice the flipper is too easy to fail? That’s the most disappointing part for me.
lol
We want to see the knife, not you guys. No hard feelings.
