i have a feeling that she’s guarding the player and secretly protecting them and helping them out, kind of seeing as how she’s the complete opposite of Huggy, female, pink, and since huggy was shown to be aggressive, it’d make sense if kissy was good in nature

Fact: The places where mommy long legs were watching u from is where the scientists would watch the children. The cracks in the walls towards the end leaded into a big room with wheel chairs and blood. This was the room that the scientists turned children into toys in. Hope this helps!

They mentioned that there was a room that the scientists stayed in to observe the children from a safe distance. And the name of the room that Mommy Long Legs is in is called the "Observation Room". Plus, she was the toy assigned to the children because of her gentle and docile nature towards them, so she would've known all about this room. A lot of the children never came back out again after finishing the test, something that is said by Mommy herself. She says something along the lines of "the children called me Mommy cause I was the closest thing they ever had to one. They would come in to play games, and never come back out. They left Mommy to die alone. But you worked here (referring to us, the player) if anyone deserves to die alone, it's you)". From this, it can be assumed that the children were turned into toys after they succeeded in the games/tests. It's never explicitly said though, it's basically just putting 2 and 2 together.

Maybe this is another William Afton immortality issue where he’s trying to find ways to bring back his dead relative EDIT: Okay okay now that I’ve watched the whole thing, in mommy’s death she says “You’ll make me a part of him!” Or something similar then gets dragged away by the beldam needle claws. Maybe this IS a William Afton thing, but Elliot made HIMSELF a creature. All the toys were his practiced experiments from employees (and maybe orphans, since mommy mentioned her being the closest thing to a mother the kids had) and they’re all scared of him.

Pretty late to this, but few things I noticed: (All up for speculation) - The voice-over for the game station, 'Stella' was the same person in one of Chapter 1's tapes - PJ, the Pug-a-Pillar, has the same voice as Scooby-doo, including the extra noises which are quite similar - The flower, one of the cutouts with a voice box, it's a sunflower, so possibly Flowey (It's a bit of a stretch though) - Poppy, 'I'm a real girl' (Pinocchio), but she also gives off the vibe of Annabelle - Sir Poops A lot, which was an extra toy, an off-brand Freddy (FNAF) Extra Easter-Eggs: Jacksepticeye's Tape, Markipliers Birthday, didn't anything else...

i haven’t seen many comments about this but at 33:12 THIS PART FREAKED ME OUT SO MUCH ?! the way the huggy wuggy thing (think it might be called kissy missy?) is so spatially aware and looks back and fourth to the player and the lever like - also the way they just walk away and never actually attacks the player… literal shivers
It’s scary yet fascinating at the same time. The sheer depth in the story from one character that doesn’t even talk. Like I’ve never been so invested in a horror game and I don’t even watch horror content
It’s the idea of a mother figure who’s supposed to be nice and sweet and caring. But,it becomes scary when they become twisted and insane as it’s a juxtaposition between something that is supposed to be kind and lovely, and then is actully sadistic and controlling. The idea of disobedience is just something you would expect of a mother figure: punishment and disobedience.
The devs did an amazing job with this game, and that's the understatement of the century. I was just as terrified watching Daz play this as I would be playing the game myself.

That clawed hand was the prototype . The reference blueprint for every single toy monster in the factory . The one creature in that place that even the monsters fear . Cause you heard mommy say before she was crushed “he’ll make me part of him “ the prototype is suppose to be highly intelligent . With incredible ingenuity and inventive engineering skills and can apply materials and hardware parts to its own body with ease .

I can't wait to see everyone's playthroughs. NGL, my 1st thought when that hand grabbed Mommy, was that the Beldam/Other Mother was going to be involved lol couldn't make Coralinw her doll so she made Poppy, and all kinds of other toys to keep her company. I did see the tape about it being another creation that got loose, though. They made it seem like the sentient toys they made were fine and followed orders be l but he infected them with his bad attitude? I guess lol but that's what made when turn on the humans.
Yes and in the last tape we get told that that metal hand is the prototype. it’s something big and terrifying. the ‘prototype’ was never Huggy, rather huggy was the better version of it. i can’t wait to see more.

I was waiting for Daz to play Chapter 2. This chapter is way more brutal and interesting than chapter 1 and gets me excited for the next chapters. Mommy was a great character and villain. Jack's cameo was awesome and Mommy's death was very brutal and interesting. I think the games you play are tests for the kids to see which ones are better to do experiments on because the games seem really complicated and weird for little kids. If so than that is very dark. It makes me wonder what happened to Huggy Wuggy after he fell in chapter one and what that thing did with Mommy's corpse. I still don't know if Jack's character was talking about that thing that took Mommy's corpse or Mommy herself. I feel like it collects the corpses and is gonna make them all into one creature similar to Ennard from FNAF Sister Location.

alot of games have the hide and seek chase scene gimmick some having it being part of the entire game loop. Its only more visible and clear here cuz of the games aesthetic being a toy factory and what not.
I'm 12 mins in... and this Mommy character is one of the creepiest, and coolest character designs I've ever seen. I'm gonna be scared the rest of this video because this character could literally pop out of anywhere with how agile it's design makes it.
Pretty sure the games were disguised as a game so they could find which children had the best cognitive abilities to put in the dolls.. Also pretty sure the director started out his mission to bring the dolls to life in an attempt to get his family back Also love the incy wincy spider tune in the background

I actually thought that this new entity mught be the Engineer: perhaps the original creator made himself inmortal by becoming a machine as well, and he's been analizing his creations, so when you destroyed Mommy, he took her to study and improve upon his design. Either that, or maybe it's some other, even more nightmarish creature, that knew couldn't beat Mommy, but once tou killed her, he finally got a snack... I don't know what direction the game qill take, but personally, I really don't think Poppy is that thing that took Mommy, because, to me, it makes no sense why she would be trapped in the first place.

Pretty late to this, but few things I noticed: (All up for speculation)
- The voice-over for the game station, 'Stella' was the same person in one of Chapter 1's tapes
- PJ, the Pug-a-Pillar, has the same voice as Scooby-doo, including the extra noises which are quite similar
- The flower, one of the cutouts with a voice box, it's a sunflower, so possibly Flowey (It's a bit of a stretch though)
- Poppy, 'I'm a real girl' (Pinocchio), but she also gives off the vibe of Annabelle

i haven’t seen many comments about this but at 33:12 THIS PART FREAKED ME OUT SO MUCH ?! the way the huggy wuggy thing (think it might be called kissy missy?) is so spatially aware and looks back and fourth to the player and the lever like - also the way they just walk away and never actually attacks the player… literal shivers

But,it becomes scary when they become twisted and insane as it’s a juxtaposition between something that is supposed to be kind and lovely, and then is actully sadistic and controlling. The idea of disobedience is just something you would expect of a mother figure: punishment and disobedience.

That clawed hand was the prototype . The reference blueprint for every single toy monster in the factory . The one creature in that place that even the monsters fear . Cause you heard mommy say before she was crushed “he’ll make me part of him “ the prototype is suppose to be highly intelligent . With incredible ingenuity and inventive engineering skills and can apply materials and hardware parts to its own body with ease .
Why do I find it so much easier to watch horror game play when Daz is the one playing them? Like its way more fun seeing his reactions and it feels like we're both playing. Also I could not be able to play the mini games under timed pressure like that lol, thanks for the great videos Daz!!

I can't wait to see everyone's playthroughs. NGL, my 1st thought when that hand grabbed Mommy, was that the Beldam/Other Mother was going to be involved lol couldn't make Coralinw her doll so she made Poppy, and all kinds of other toys to keep her company. I did see the tape about it being another creation that got loose, though. They made it seem like the sentient toys they made were fine and followed orders be l but he infected them with his bad attitude? I guess lol but that's what made when turn on the humans.
i love how they do the animations so well with the story behind the game as well, it makes the story and game come to life.

Yes and in the last tape we get told that that metal hand is the prototype. it’s something big and terrifying. the ‘prototype’ was never Huggy, rather huggy was the better version of it. i can’t wait to see more.

I was waiting for Daz to play Chapter 2. This chapter is way more brutal and interesting than chapter 1 and gets me excited for the next chapters. Mommy was a great character and villain. Jack's cameo was awesome and Mommy's death was very brutal and interesting. I think the games you play are tests for the kids to see which ones are better to do experiments on because the games seem really complicated and weird for little kids. If so than that is very dark. It makes me wonder what happened to Huggy Wuggy after he fell in chapter one and what that thing did with Mommy's corpse. I still don't know if Jack's character was talking about that thing that took Mommy's corpse or Mommy herself. I feel like it collects the corpses and is gonna make them all into one creature similar to Ennard from FNAF Sister Location.

Ok, so what if that massive metal hand was the “real poppy” and when she said “While I’m still a doll” in the beginning perhaps she was alluding to her being some monstrous creature. Maybe that “poppy doll” isn’t a doll it’s a puppet.
I actually thought that this new entity mught be the Engineer: perhaps the original creator made himself inmortal by becoming a machine as well, and he's been analizing his creations, so when you destroyed Mommy, he took her to study and improve upon his design. Either that, or maybe it's some other, even more nightmarish creature, that knew couldn't beat Mommy, but once tou killed her, he finally got a snack... I don't know what direction the game qill take, but personally, I really don't think Poppy is that thing that took Mommy, because, to me, it makes no sense why she would be trapped in the first place.
