    but we don't usually eat peanut butter in Viet Nam, that's something just the restaurent in foreign country do. In fact, we usually use fish sauce.

      Don't worry Guga, the sauce you made is something my mother is making as well and we are 100% Vietnamese.
      Can't believe you put more sugar in it though and instead of coconut water and milk we add meat broth for more umami.

    You guys should up some sound dampener pad carpet/furniture and stuff in the room you eat in. It would increase the sound quality a lot, especially Everytime Ninja screams DEEEELICIOOOUUUS! It always echoes a bit afterwards and I think some soft surfaces in that room would improve it. Love you guy's videos!

    Thanks bro. My parents home country food is my favourite kind of food. Vietnamese food is the way to go. Its somewhat exotic, and the way you present the dish makes it look beautiful and fresh. Thats why i love it plus the flavour that comes with the food. I learn what i can from my mother. It helps expand my cooking style

    Try the same thing with plain white Greek yogurt! In Georgia (The country not the state) people use yogurt to tenderize chicken. cover the steak lightly with a yogurt based marinade and cook it in the sous vide. Wipe off any excess yogurt so you don’t get a dairy flavor but it will make it super tender. Probably won’t be as tasty as peanut steak but i bet it will be more tender

    Can we get a gastronomist to explain the interaction between the peanut butter and the beef that makes it as good as Guga explains?

      Well perhaps the slow heating process combined with the salt(acidity) in the peanut butter to break down the proteins then the fats from the nut entering the meat ( more fat= more tender) does it.

    That looks amazing and I'm definitely going to cook this meal soon. My favorite is Pistachio crusted chicken so I wonder if different types of nuts would make a flavorful steak?
