I have about the same amount of rounds on this and the xeno brake, great can. Clean it every 1k-2k with CLR + distilled water soak overnight and back to business. Worth picking up the caliber specific flash hiding end caps, imo. Not the ebrake.
Nice champion safe, i have one myself but i prefer my other safe Superior which is their sister company and is exactly the same but with external hinges to open the door a full 90deg. I also have a PWS Mk111 mod1 and a Mk109 Mod1 .300blk and a Mk116 PRO. I have a Dead Air Sierra 5 on a xeno and a Sandman S and a Wolfman on a Xeno and a Booster for my G19X and a Surefire RC2 5.56 and a YHM Phantom.22
Enjoyed the video and the fact you have access to a variety of different suppressors to narrow down to what you want. Thats awesome!!! I too, am a fan of the DA Xeno qd system. I drank the kool-aid on the xeno system while I waited on my Nomad-L to get out of jail. Overall I'm pleased with the xeno mount considering its my first & only qd system. So I only have a sample size of one. lol.
Mines going to be in jail for another several months, but I can’t wait to get ahold of this! I’ve been stocking up on 300 blk super suppressed just for some “mostly” hearing safe fun 😂
The Nomad L is good for subs on a semi auto 300 bulk with subs but with the added length comes more back pressure making it better suited for bolt guns. Semi auto 556 is t too gassy though.
@@severshoots The Nomad 30 is lower back pressure than the L for sure. I also own a Nomad L and Dead Air recommend that I use my Sandman S for both a semi auto 556 and semi 308 AR10. It’s back pressure is one of the reasons it’s muzzle. Numbers are so good, go check out Pew Science if you don’t want to take my typing for it.
What handguard is that? I doing a 7.5 300 blkout build and I'm going for the same look (w/ barely any space between the rail and suppressor). Also, would the xeno mounting system still fit in that same configuration?
How many lengths did you go on the the 300blk barrel on the mk111 to get it flush like that..thats badass and im getting the nomad 30 and looking to do a similar setup
13:30 What is the point of audio tests at 150 yards? Just to hear the bullet sound and any faint firing of distant gun? I would think local sound test is more useful (for shooter or those nearby on range).
God forbid you ever have to actually shoot at someone. But if you did, it kind of gives you an idea of what kind of signature it presents to whoever would be down range from you
@@severshoots makes sense for game animals that might be spooked too of course, I was just immediately thinking of local hearing safety and "refined polite society" of civilized shooter's etiquette 😄
@@save2a4all Not many people like to do this demo. I actually like it to hear how far the suppressor can be heard. It is difficult for a human to know what direction subs 300blk are coming from.
@Sever Shoots just curious cause they do sell a 6.5 creedmoor cap. Was wondering if you needed it or does it work fine with the stock .30cal cap? Also they say the 5.56 cap helps with more sound suppression about 4 decibels. I have the nomad 30 for my 300blk canebreak and my 5.56 rifle. And just got a 6.5 rifle. Thanks for your video as it helped me stick to this one can for a while until I can buy another 😅.
Be never shot the trash panda, but on paper they are very similar. Close in length, close in girth, same caliber cans, close in price. I haven’t heard another 30cal can that’s as quiet as this one on 556 though. So there’s that. And it makes 300blk stupid quiet. So….. it’s hard to say. I’d go with this every time if I had to do it all over again
tbh, never knew about lems till I was hiking across colorado about a year ago, i'm stuck on the brand. comfy from first lacing. Now I see shooters all the time with these, better than merrells. /edit* waiting on my nomad-l, needed some suppressed b'roll
Thank you for. The video I just bought a nomad and was trying to figure out the mounting part

I have a 7.5 inch barrel and 7 inch Handguard on my 300 pistol. Hoping it fits with the Handguard. Looks similar to yours
I use one on a piston 300 blackout and piston 556 and piston 308, and it works great so far.
Absolute money, paired with a piston gun. I could not agree more.

I’d be interested in the specs of your system because generally the nomad series is hailed for its lack of back pressure

This is the way the mk111 comes. No modification.
@@severshoots what length is your rail on your 7.5" 300blk?
Did you have your 6.5 tikka barrel threaded? If so, what thread/pitch is it?
I did! I talk about that in my tikka review. It’s too thin to have it threaded 5/8x24 so it’s 1/2x28

Easy enough
