- Dr Ian Mortimer talking at The Mortimer History Society Conference at Leominster Priory, Herefordshire on Saturday May 18th 2019. "The Mortimers to 1330: From Wigmore to ruler of England"
This was very helpful , all i know is my last line of Mortimer was my greatnan who was welsh , and my Grandmother who was welsh took me to Tintern abbey and wigmore to show me it before she died , i now fully understand the ancestory line of the early centurys , thank you still trying to work out the pecking order of the Coedmore cadet from Susan
My name is Anna. I am a descendant of Glwadus Llywelyn who married Ralph Depp Mortimer of Wigmore. I just found this out and found you. I would like to know more about our history if that would be possible. We traced our lineage on my fathers side through his mother.
Hi Anna, Have you checked out our website?
mortimerhistorysociety.org.uk/
You can find out more information here and a list of contacts. You can also sign up for membership which will get you access to the Mortimer Geneaology as produced by Dr Ian Mortimer.
Hope you find that useful

I have a very similar research problem with the Norman Paynel’s and their Jersey cousins, the Payn’s- who both came to England and remain connected in similar patterns and ways.
roger mortimer 2nd earl of march
