I thank God everyday for Father Joseph Martin and all of his "good works" for the still suffering alcoholics and addicts. I am grateful for my 34 years of sobriety.
Found father Martin two months ago on you tube. What a wonderful man. I'm 16 months clean and sober and when days aren't so good (and also when days are good) I watch he's videos for inspiration.
What a wonderful God fearing man. God certainly has a special place for this man. And to everyone reading my comment that's addicted to alcohol or another drug please pray for me and other addicts suffering from this disease. Fortunately I have a wife that understands addiction and has given me help and support.
Father Martin, even though u have passed to the heavens above some how he sent u to me. Please this is my last hope, help me stay sober. My family is at risk. In Jesus name I pray, amen....
RIP Fr. Martin 🙏 I met you in B.C. (Canada) in my first year sobriety. I just celebrated my 42nd AA Birthday! I am so grateful for all your service to the suffering alcoholics and their families. How wonderful that you live on in the lives of so many and that we can see/hear you on-line over and over again. Fr. Martin I thank our loving God for you!💐 Pray for my family.
SOoooooooooo nice.... this made me cry!!! I lost a 36 year old brother to alcoholism.... I wish I was aware of you then... RIP your messages are amazing!!!
Watching father martin has played a big part in my recovery. He makes it sound so simple. This is my third time in recovery and I am glad I have realised I cant carry on hurting myself or those around me anymore. I am 12 months in clean in may.God bless you Father Martin
Praying for you Josh ua... That you are sober & healthy, most especially for God, because that’s what he wants for you & all of us & for yourself & your family. I am now embarking on this journey.
Thank you Ashley. You pointed me in the right direction in 1992. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Austin, Texas. I have a private practice and I help 30 clients per week (for the past 10 years). I own so much gratitude to Father Martin and Ashley for being there when I was totally broken...
I'm 7 days sober. Father Martin is always a inspiration when he talks. I believe that one needs to make a deep choice in wanting to be sober. Deep, meaning really wanting diversity for one self and not for someone else.
I used his videos with clients during my past 30 yrs as a counselor. I just got my 35th yr of sobriety, I am so grateful to this man. Paul Spina, I hope you choose to stay with us, as the 12 Steps work... Watch my shows: Time to Heal With Pam Episode 9.. or join my group on Facebook "Time to Heal" I am praying you trust in the program and call your sponsor today.. We love you.
I was at FMA in 2012. I really loved that place. They genuinely care about you. It's such a healing environment I'll never forget the month that I spent there.
A month later I find myself again here still in recovery and I'm starting to get the message and learning the lesson of it all. Wish I will get it this time but I have to "take it one day at a time "
@@HNunyabusiness well 1 day in to a thousand days in. It will not get any easier if we don't humbly ask God to do his will and for that to happen for myself I need to always daily remind myself that I am not in the driver's seat but he is and I have to believe that he's intention for me is a life changed for the better if I allow him to bring me there daily in the steps I take

Thank you Father, I will always remember you and your Chalk Talk. I never knew of Ashley, but here in East Tennessee today, NO MAN if he is not rich can get a detox..AA..yes, they help many, but the Rehab Industry is nothing but a money making scheme. Many people die because they cant afford a detox. Really sad. RIP..Father Martin.
