I’ve been a fan of Sara’s for over 15 years, and I just didn’t think at this point I’d be “surprised” by her. When I got to this track, I sobbed. It is one of the best songs I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing, and I love that it’s kind of shown both hers and my growth as humans. I used to love the sad ballads of unrequited love that she wrote, I mean who doesn’t love Gravity, but this is a hopeful and optimistic song shrouded in the weight of your demons. This is a song about someone who feels broken, who feels like getting out of bed sometimes is a struggle, but that they have the warmth and compassion and trust of someone who will be there to support them and even though I feel that way but don’t have someone in my life to support me, I feel comforted just knowing that someone out there feels the same way, and is taken care of. It’s a weird comfort and maybe the best song I’ve ever heard.

Those critics don’t understand how those of us who struggle with depression and anxiety, like myself and others NEED open and honest song writing like this.
