So glad to see "time traveled" items on youtube. There are so many OP items just waiting to be exploited, IF you can invest the time playing older versions. A few mentions: - 1.07 MPK/FCR ring - 1.07 crafted items (could have magic-only affixes and get 3 sockets) - 1.07 bugged life leech crafts - 1.07 ethereal weapons as rune word bases - 1.07 (or indeed any before 1.10) Ravenclaw (would get lvl 30 exploding arrow when forwarded to 1.10+) - pre-LoD rares (could have MUCH higher rolls on resists, gold find, MF, FHR, and so many useless affixes weren't available back then) - pre-LoD uniques (only applies to classic, NOT expansion) - These have NO level requirement, even when forwarded (never checked D2R but should apply). So you can start a char in classic, using dual SoJ (which were really easy to obtain back then). - 1.08 crafted caster amulet - the only possible way of getting 25% faster cast rate on an amulet - 1.10a cube socketed magic items - these could get max socets for their item type and item level. So six on an archon staff, five on war scepter, etc. Best for claws, which could have 1 more open socket than 1.10 final and onwards - 1.08 LLD rare jewels - could have 6 affixes, and at low level there aren't that many to choose from, so relatively easy to roll a sick one. - Other 1.10s runewords - Crescent Moon and CtA - far better stats - 1.07 / 1.08 "vita" uniques - 1.09 FRW small charms were 5%, not 3% - 1.07 max damage charms - could get up to 40 on a grand, 12 on a small.... required perfect roll on prefix and suffix though
The ending was so funny because I am on my first playthrough and just killed Diablo, meaning I'm in the Baal area just now. So the first thought I had after I saw this built in my recommendations was "How does that guy get through those weird poison immune doors though?" and you used that literally as the outro joke LOL
D2 classic player here. I've made several poison nova Necros for classic ladder and it's doable. It just takes much, MUCH longer to acquire the gear and ultimately to clear chaos.. :( It's more of a "luxury" build mid ladder due to needing some expensive gear and time to lvl up. Expensive gear like silks, 2 sojs and a +2, 10% FCR ammy. Everything else is pretty common. Sigon's shield (+1 to all skills, TAS) +5 Posion explosion wand, tarn, etc. Realistically to lvl up, you will likely be a corpse explosion/amp necro then reset back to pure poison for lvls 80+...
I like it fella, I'm running a similar build no summons though and maxing out lower res, I like the bone armour idea, It's just so hard to get a dweb on single player though faark it just gotta keep grinding I guess

@@RPDBY Hey, I gave up on online play because I feel I don't have time to be challenging. On SP I keep track of my time while also all of my progress! I can take a break and return back to the game whenever I want!

@@RPDBY Most of my items are from D2 1.14d which I've been playing for years and all my progress is there. I am moving my characters to D2R one by one. I don't like the ladder reset, the character expire date, the character limit and mostly the lag, delay and disconnecting issues.
A tip for Iron Golem. Create a new game, take WP to River of Flame, a shrine often spawns next to the WP. Keep remaking game until you hit a Skill Shrine, and also buff yourself with CTA as well for +3 additional skill bonus to Iron Golem, since it will be around permanently.
Teleport is just too important for necro. I have a similar Necro but I run enigma, and bramble / infinity a2 might Merc for thorns. I made an insight iron golem. Followed similar skill points but invested a couple more into skeleton mastery / golem mastery. Bosses do 4x damage to minions so with thorns and amp damaged boss, he kills himself on your summons. Minions will have 3 auras giving them decent dps considering skill investment. Infinity is used to lower defence for enemies, and actually helps with corpse explosion immensely. For lower fire res and lower defence.
Iron Golem tends to die because I didn't invest many points in the Golem Mastery so it's annoying making runewords all the time to keep him useful. Blood Golem is very durable and can heal a small amount of your life when he hits. At least, it's something!
I've always found poison nova necros to be "meh" and with the updates adding sunder charms and skill/synergy reworks it's still meh but at least viable now in games higher than players 3. In other words, it's one of those builds that you really, REALLY have to like in order to get something out of it. It's not bad, per say, just that summon tele stomping or a well-built bone necro is hard to beat.
Good build for pve runs. Doesn’t work for pvp, the reason is poison not killing you, you will stay with 1 hp. Bone build is the best for pvp. But this build is also good. Or you can use poison nova and after that use bone spirit.
Works awesome pvp just use psn nova and teeth. It’s a ton of pressure and tough to close the gap. If you really want to cheese, decrepify + clay golem but that’s really bm I think.
Should not have instantly put all remaining points into bone wall. Since you have a lot to all skills and poison and bone you should have taken bone spear once to unlock bone prison, which would be at level 23 with just 2 points invested, which equals +230% extra absorb.
You do not have to use a lidless wall over a spirit shield, just put the spirit runes in a lesser shield. You don't HAVE to use a monarch for spirit if it's destined to be on weapon swap with prebuffing cta. This way you lose absolutely nothing at all. Also you can maximize the utility of the iron golem by putting cure in the highest defense helm possible.
What do you mean? Monarch is the lowest shield you can make spirit in. The lesser shields can't have 4 sockets. The Defense will barely make any difference so the Golem will still die easily!
I play Single Player so my Goal is to create every possible build at its full power. No particular aims for such builds other than slaughtering monsters!

It was just an observation of what imo make it less than perfect for everyday game play as imo the point of killing and farming is the hunt for loot and not just kill stuff as fast as possible w/o the possibility of reward. However, your build vid has been very helpful as I've been able been able to adapt a variant build to incorporate about 175 MF w/ min loss in dps and teleport w/ an ammy :) Thx again for the vid.

Iron golem is respawn every game with actual skill level so no temporary skill bonus is active.

I like the thorns strategy with the summons but I just wanted to invest purely on poison. One day I may make such a build as you described!
I do same except for act 5 merc with bramble and grief and last wish he obliterates bosses and I run with 12 skellies and poison nova.

I heard that lowering resistance mods don`t influence immunities, just resistances only. The door in the end prove it. Such a pity!

You should have tried with 7 other players online to see how strong is your poison dmg on mobs n diablo. One person solo poison dmg is like nothing.
