I have 8 of the Litom solar wall lights. Some are 102 LED and others are 54 LED. They all still work perfectly. The oldest is a 3-year old 54-LED model. The next oldest is a 20-month old 102 LED model. They are all set to remain off normally and then go full brightness when motion is detected. I don't recall ever pealing anything off the solar panel and none of mine are exhibiting the pealing condition that you show in the video.
Wow... 3 years and still works.. amazing... The peeling is on my Lemontecs... I do have another pair that is 6 month old and has no signs of peeling yet...
I am still using my Lemontec Solar Lights based off your review that (one year and half ago) and they are still golden! They do yellow, however I have them 8 FT high so no one will notice them. They are on each side of the house once side with pool equipment, the other with the AC Unit, and last the Garbage bins. Still flawless and certain THE best bang for your buck.
This video is informative. Thank you. I have had 2 sets of Litom lights. The first set lasted a year and a died. The second set, one works and one does not. But I still would order more because they work great. For peeling, have you reached out to see if they should be peeled during installation?
We have similar lights from a different brand for a few years. They work great but the solar panel also peeled. I would think that it was a protective layer not meant to be peeled off, since they would surely use an normal plastic film if it was meant to be taken off. But ours still work great. (only a guess)
I bought solar lights based on your earlier videos. These brands are not available in Australia, but they’re just fine and dandy. Thank you 🙏 P.S. if only there was a way to securely attach solar panels or even the lights to gutters.
Thanks for the update. I have had my two Litom 63 LED Solar Motion lights since the beginning of October 2019. They are mounted outside on a shed and set to dusk to dawn setting. The overall brightness is rather dull and the lights do not project outward as listed in the literature. I wonder if your lights are doing better due to the location (TX) vs, my location in the Pocono Mts. of PA, where the sunshine is limited. Do you know of anyone using the lights in the Northeast and how well are the lights performing? At this point in time, I cannot say that the lights are performing as advertised. Maybe, the solar capacity is not enough for this physical location. Hopefully, Litom is listening and will make improvements.
It does need sunlight to properly charge the batteries... try changing the mode and not to set it dusk to dawn... just set it to turn ON when it senses motion so that you will get the brightest setting on the lights..
@@LifeHackster I appreciate the suggestion and will give it a try. However, I expect the product to work as advertised., and the dusk to dawn setting is what I need for my application.
@@stephenwill9792 That will occur with any solar powered item where the sun isn’t as direct and as strong. I live in northern california and I have the same issue with my costco patio solar powered lights. They’re great during the summer and fall. They’re on from dusk til dawn, but come winter like right now and they’re on by 5 pm and off by 1-2am which sucks because at 5am when we leave for work, it’s off.
We live in a rural area, and its DARK at night. We have a barn that my son puts his car in, and walks to the house. I was wanting to put lights on the wooden fence posts along the gravel drive to the house so he doesn't kill himself. We have plenty of sun to charge, but I was wondering of all your lights? @@LifeHackster me to, I'm have PhD in molecular biology. I'm sick and tired of people telling me to stay save when the CDC just estimated fetality rate from Covid-19 to be 0.002 to 0.004. Stay safe? Yes and as you can see from when I made the video..(April 3rd) it was the time that nobody is certain what is going on...I don’t think CDC made that estimation yet..
@@LifeHackster true, but there were many indicators... that fetality rates were greatly exaggerated. (Numbers based only on symptomatic people/dead due to virus). Either way, thanks for lamp review!

Cool.. they are definitely worth every penny we paid for them...
Any way to install these without drilling holes in my new siding? Double-stick tape perhaps? If they fail I won't want holes left everywhere.
Really good video
Glad you enjoyed it

The indoor camera, the lock, and the keypad.

Hello friends, I am holding a test event for solar lights. I wonder if you are interested in learning about it?
Thanks
You are welcome.
Which one in your opinion is brighter and better if pricing wasn't a factor
The luposwiten..but their light is more focused as compared to the Litom..
what is the maximum height they should be installed?
It should work pretty good around 7-9 feet up.
Any idea when the new ring solar smart lighting will be available?
Not. yet but pretty soon... whenever they start selling them, I am getting some to test..
