I remember watching this as a kid, and wishing to play it in my WII, now that I grew up and learn to homebrew my Wii, I downloaded it and man it was worth playing the game and finishing it, which was one of my childhood wishes. Anybody else can relate?

Budokai really lost its charm after the first few games. The ultimate attacks that had their own little cutscenes and planetary explosions were awesome, these are just so fast and soulless that they dont even feel like dragon ball Z moves.

Damn, this game didn't leave out anyone that played a role. Too wicked, does the story mode start from Dragon Ball then Dragon Ball Z?
The story mode goes based off of the different Sagas. Android/Cell Saga, Majin Buu Saga, Frieza Saga etc.
What about the Dragon Ball sagas?
They don't have it divided into the Dragon Ball sagas per se, but the game does have an individual part called "The Dragon Ball Saga" and its just the main points and major encounters when Goku was a kid....Like Mercenary Tao and Demon King Piccolo.

Captain Ginyu's ultimate attack sucks because it only does 3000 damage and when you switch bodies you cant even use the moves.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1 is my favorite, just my opinion, though the other games are really fun and enjoyable, its just i grew up with DBZB1 and would settle debates with it
Not trying to debate but one of the things is that a lot of ki is required to transform father son kamehame isn't an ultimate move and there are these kaioken forms that were never really used in the anime kamehamehas are yellow and can only be used in a combo
DBZ Infinite World is my favorite. Budokai 1 comes in second.
My favorite character throughout this game was Gina gokus mother. She's an inspiration to my current xenoverse character.
