- This curvy bombe chest took on a life of its own. Sometimes the furniture just speaks and you can only listen! This one says "well traveled and worldly". Lets play with some Eye Love Hue paint and try it out for blending and layereing. I was super impressed with the rum raisin 3 color blend of tuxedo, chocolate raspberry truffle, and gypsy magic, but this layereing effect stole the show on this one! This mandala stencil from posh chalk finished if off in eternal decor wax from redesign with prima

This piece is gorgeous! Love it! I didn’t know it was okay to clear coat over gilding wax. I learned something new!
I've always done it with no issues, although the gilding wax doesn't have to be sealed

This was an awesome video! Thanks so much for showing all of these techniques. Question…How come you didn’t end up using the hardware that had the lace look that you spray painted? I noticed it ended up being round knobs with a gold face. Just curious.. 😊
Can you seal the piece with water based sealer after using gilding waxes?

Yes, exactly a dry brush with very little paint, horizontal and vertical, alternating colors
Awesome!! I have a question please. I have ordered a sprayer but need to put a top coat on a large table now. Which roller do you use?
I love this piece! I noticed that you applied the top coat after the gilding wax, so is the Redesign Prima wax water based? (Not being snorky, truly just curious about the new products.)
I let it cure to permanent and seal after 24 hours with no issues

I’m so nervous to try using so much wax as shading. Does it take longer to cure? I really like the depth and character dark wax gives. What if it feels tacky after a few days? You make it look so good thank you
If its tacky after a few days, there may be too much on the surface, should be very little wax

I applied it afterwards, such small amounts of wax so i have no issues sealing it
