Fast boat to GILI AIR | Is this best island of INDONESIA? | 2022

We chose the “Ekajaya” ferry company and used a fast boat to get to the Gili Air. The way to the Padang Bai harbor from Ubud is about 1-1.20 hours. We highly recommend taking a transfer from a company, especially on the way back. Because the first time we were at the harbor some local people chased us on bikes, shouted, and did not allow us to call a taxi. We were quite scared and finally managed to negotiate and get home safely. Therefore, just take a transfer from a ferry company.
A way on a fast boat took 2 hours and be prepared by taking some mint candies or something from sea sickness.
The Gili Air is one of the most beautiful islands! Maybe it’s not about nature( which also is quite good) but about the ambience! You feel simple happiness there! All the people are smiling and trying to help you with everything. Riding a bike there was something from my childhood. I can’t describe all my emotions about this island. It’s just perfect! You are far away from a big world living your best life!
