Bali to Gili T (Trawangan). 🇮🇩 Costs, activities, what you need to know before going.

- This is our 3 day itinerary of Gili Trawangan.
From PadangBai to Gili Trawangan, we used Inami fast boat which this time was a treat as once the boat set off, we got lucky and ended up on the top deck by ourselves with just the sea air and a cold beer.
Once the boat docked, we headed for our accomodation which was on the East side of the island. We were able to check in early as the room was ready, so we dropped off our bags and went straight for the beach! Almost immediately greeted by a Turtle! Then off to dinner on the Sunset beach before heading back for a well needed sleep.
The next morning we went for a run and used the outdoor Jungle GYM. Once back and ready to start our day we rented two bikes from our accommodation which was really useful to explore the island and see much more than we could on foot. Back for breakfast on the beach and then some snorkeling. In the evening we took a bike ride over to sunset beach were we used the outdoor cinema and watched LaLa Land and had dinner and some drinks. Once the film was over, we attempted the notorious GILI T NIGHT LIFE!! Safe to say, it did not disappoint. We went to a few bars were they had live music and a DJ. In between the bars, we stopped off at the Night Market which was really cool to see all the night traders working away and providing locals and tourist with great food and drinks.
Day 3 then quickly came around, so we started our morning with eggs and orange juice before heading out to our snorkeling boat tour which took us to 3 different spots, Bask Nest Underwater Sculpchers, Turtle Point and finally, Fish Garden. The boat then took us over to Gili Air for some lunch and then back to Gili T. Once back and changed, we took a walk across the seafront stopping off on the way for one of the best cinnamon rolls we have had (SO FAR!) Em then picked up a new fridge magnet to add to our collection. Over on sunset beach, we had our final evening watching the sunset on the beautiful beach. Rabbit Jump for dinner and then Gili YO frozen yogurt for dessert. The frozen yogurt tastes just like a place back home which was a nice touch.
At the end of the video we give our own opinions on Gili Trawangan and what we saw on our trip. Pro's and Con's of the island and whether or not we would rush back to visit again...

Do you think ferry from bali to gili can be done easily with 2 yrs old kid

We did see small children travelling on the boats and the boat crew were helpful with bags etc
Did you book accommodations with air bnb? Having stayed there do you recommend same area or would you choose differently?

What is name of your accommodation?
Hi! We stayed at Gili Smile Bungalow. Fantastic location but our rooms had no AirCon which was pretty unpleasant at times. Hope this helps, Em and Dean
GILI trawangan not Bali, But Lombok.

How or who you made accommodations there?
Hi! We used Booking.com for our stay in the Gili’s. In fact, we used Booking.com for 99% of our bookings while travelling. Thank you ❤️
Me and my Indonesian wife are planning to go to Bali then go over to Lombok. Planing the ferry. And go to Living Asia resort. But they use Agoda. Not sure if stop for a visit at the Gilis islands.
