Good luck on your maynia plans. I can’t wait to see your progress. My husband makes me cards on his 3D printer. We’ve gotten quite creative with it. I have a Tardis project that takes 40 colors. He made a Tardis shaped card with exactly 40 holes. 🤓 Plants
I think it was so adorable and sweet that your son got so invested and he was #1000. ❤
I usually use the floss bobbins with a plastic case for storage, but i find that the stitchbow roll up case/binder are great for traveling with the pieces. They're by DMC.
Congratulations on 1000! I wanted to try those floss drops because I’m at the point that I have so many wips and I’m constantly looking through them to steal thread for another project so I was thinking of just having a master set and taking what I need from that. Saves me from buying more than I need. Btw, I dye all of my fabric. It’s super easy and fun. There are plenty of tutorials. Just wear gloves lol and if you use a powder, wear a mask. Love your work.
Your son sounds adorable. And how sweet of him to do that for his mom!! I've just found your program and I'm really looking forward to more. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snow (?) project. I think that was the name of it. You really have to beautiful pieces. I don't have enough llfe in my to stitch all the lovely things I want to stitch lol. Anyway, the plants project would be so cute for my daughters house. And I'm looking for different way to organize my floss so that would be interesting to try. Anyway, keep up the great work. Can't wait to see you next time :)

Love your projects. I have a few of the floss organizers and found they work really well for me while working on a project. I just put a sticker on with the floss number. My main storage is also floss bags, love them for leftover bits and not having to cut anything to put things away.
Loved all your wips. I love it that your son was the person that got you to 1000. I'm always looking for more floss holders so I would love to add those to my stash. Looking forward to your next video.

Congrats! I’m low key jealous of all your starts in may but I know I’m an almost monogamous stitcher and so even though I’d like some variety, starting a new WIP would stress me out 😂 I’d love to see a video about your floss organization/kitting up process. I’m not a new stitcher, but I’ve just never found something that works for me. Bobbins come close but not quite.

Totally feel you on the so much confetti on max colors. It's coming out so beautiful that it seems worth it, but it's definitely a challenge to stitch through some of it!

Plants! Also, I am absolutely drooling over your work up of those Disney villains, especially with the Bad Girls have more Fun at the bottom. Would you ever consider selling that pattern? I know someone else made the individual patterns, but if there was a way to sell it back to them as another option, I would buy it in a heartbeat! So cool!!!

Congrats on 1000! Love that your son was part of it. For your tent projects, do you have a method you follow such as continental, basketweave, or half stitch? I’m wanting to start an Aimee Stewart and am considering tent. Just nervous about potential for warped fabric. Would love to hear what you’re doing as there’s no warp on your work. Thanks!
There’s not really any method to my madness. I originally started with a tent/half stitch when stitching in one direction and continental when coming back in the other direction so that my first leg of the stitch always started in an open hole. But now that I am filling on spaces and having more confetti areas, I’m all over the place! I haven’t noticed any warping but most of my tent projects are not very far along so it will be interesting to see how the fabric looks as I progress further.

So excited for all your new starts! That Halloween day of the dead is so gorgeous. Hate that it might not be licensed. If it's full coverage? Do you think it would be easier on a not white fabric? I love all your projects. They are more out of the box than the normal ones I see on UA-cam. I recently heard about May Mania. Oh boy! Hard pass for me. Lol. I just stitch on one project until it's finished. 2 at most. I stay motivated with the progress I am able to make by just doing one project at a time. Snow is the one I'm most excited about you starting. It is so pretty!!! Is it full coverage or just the fairy on grey fabric?
I am doing Snow as full coverage. I am sure you could do it on a color fabric and eliminate the background but I really like the background so I am planning to stitch it. I saw an example of someone else that is working on it and is about 75% done and it is sooooo gorgeous! I think you are right about the Halloween one and it might work better to stitch on a color fabric. I just haven’t decided if I want to restart that one yet. I have plenty of other WIPS to work on ok the meantime!

Hello. Great progress. I just started Snow last month. Have about 2 and a half thousand stitches on it. On your chart how many DMC numbers does Krenik 032 represent. Mine use it for three DMC numbers. But i have seen others where krenik is used only for one number. Im not sure if i have to use a thread of the number represented with the krenik or use it on its own. I would love to know what you think?. Happy stitching😁
I checked my pattern and I don’t see any Krenick called for. I am using what is called the “18 count” version of the pattern from her store, and wondering if maybe the 25 count version has more colors in it since the stitch count is bigger. That’s the only think I could think of that might have made the difference. Or it’s also quite possible or is called for on my pattern and I am just a not seeing it.
@ThoseMissingStitches the number was 814, I think...032 krenik. I bought the chart 3 or 4 years ago. Recently I saw there was a pattern keeper pdf for Snow. And I couldn't open the original chart. Maxine sent me it, but I think it only had 1 krenik instead of 3 dmc numbers represented by krenik in the old chart. So I'm not sure neither.

Mine is RTO’s Red Mermaid kit; but I’m changing out the navy blue Aida for some hand dyed Lugana by Atomic Ranch color way Christmas Night. It’s so much nicer than that stiff kit Aida. I’m using the kit floss. Happy a great stitching month.
