I bought a Beneteau First 210 a few weeks back which I'll be working on over winter, at my home in Grange, just down the road from Ardfinnan, so I'm nearly a land neighbour to you. Was interested in you mooring solution down in Youghal as I'm looking to do something similar in Dungarvan...and/or Dunmore east. Would love to chat to you someday about your experience putting down a mooring, permissions, etc. Loads of info on the net about building them but not much on what you need to be aware of. Keep up with the videos. It's exactly the kind of sailing I'm also looking to do. South East Coast.
Hello Mick, thanks for the message, The mooring situation is a mine field, we will need a night on the high stool to short it out, Name a pub and a time and we can have a chat over a few scoops ;-)

Only thing that seems good on this mooring is the chain. I'd be curious to see how it withstood the test of time.
