I ve seen many videos about this cruise. Without a doubt, this is the best descriptive, most informative of all. I feel like I don’t need to see any more videos to find information. THANK YOU!!!! 🙏🏻
The Escape is one of NCL's Breakaway plus class ships and is like being in a town at sea. So much to do and experience onboard! Great first ship choice! It has something for everyone!
Really good video. Good pace with great photography. Very informative. Thank you. I'm on Escape in September this year out of Barcelona. I've been looking at reviews and studying the ship but this is the first ship tour I've come across that didn't drive me nuts with extra excited babble. You've helped me so much more than all the rest.
Booking my first cruise ever: going Caribbean. Planned NCL. This review established what ship for my first. Thank you. Can’t wait to cruise via casino comps after this first trip from what I have planned and watched and learned. (Vegas is getting old) itinerary wasn’t planned however is now booked based on this ship review for what worked for my time and dates etc
Great informative video. Thank you! We are booked on the Getaway which we have already been on so I may change to the Escape after seeing this for something different. The Getaway is great too!
amazon video with excellent and “insider” tips that I had not seen anywhere else. I appreciate the pace and appropriate comments, very helpful/excellent camera work too.
I took this ship on my recent cruise this past April 2024. The last cruise I took before was on RC in 2022. Although the port stops were great, the only thing NCL did better than RC was have edible coffee.
Hi, which bar would you recommend for a nice drink to watch the sail away from Mediterranean ports after a busy day sightseeing in port? These summer Mediterranean itineraries are a different vibe. We probably won’t get to enjoy all these beautiful amenities as much as a Caribbean cruise. TIA ❤
There are a lot of good answers to this question since the Escape has so much to choose from. It kind of depends what sort vibe you are looking for. Certainly the pool deck area (Waves bar on the pool deck 16 and sun deck 17) will have the most energy. They will likely be crowded as well. You've got Spice H2O on the rear of the ship on Deck 17; that would certainly be nice for sail away. And the Deck 19 sun deck on the front of the ship has a bar that usually isn't too busy and the views up there are really good. Finally, if you are looking for something more laid back and relaxing with comfortable seating, then try the Waterfront on Deck 8. There's a bar on each side of the ship and we really enjoyed hanging out there when we didn't want to be in the sun. In conclusion, we liked the sun deck bar on Deck 19 on the front of the ship for sail away (if weather is good). It's not too busy and the views are great. And, for a bonus, you could watch sail away from one of the 2 big hot tubs cantilevered off the side of the ship on the Deck 19 sun deck. Have a wonderful trip!
You are correct that there is not a branded Starbucks location on the Escape. However, the Atrium Cafe creates all kinds of coffee drinks and serves Starbucks products. It was very good and didn't trouble us at all that it wasn't an "official" Starbucks location.
Just got back from Med cruise on Escape . A few points . Don’t expect to arrive in the Ports as listed , the ship is too big so you will be more or less forced to take the expensive Tour options offered by NCL . On disembarkation day don’t expect to hang around the ship any later 9.30am on the final day . The enjoy the bun fight with everyone trying to get a Taxi . Finally when you receive your final bill for onboard services plus hefty gratuity , if you leave a uk debit card , they will give you a robbery exchange rate of circa $1.06 to the £ so be warned .
Can you tell me which destination and where you deported from? I’ve watched a lot of escape videos and the one con I seem to keep running across is that the ship is very crowded all of the time. But in your video, it doesn’t look crowded at all. I would like to take the carribean cruise out of Texas but am wondering if this is a very a busy time for this cruise or is it always to capacity? Any insight is appreciated!
We sailed out of Port Canaveral and it was an eastern Caribbean cruise. The ship was completely full, but that really is the case for all Caribbean cruises right now. I don't know when you are planning to sail but, unless you are going last minute and know there are a lot of empty cabins, you should probably assume it will be a full ship. Having said that, one of the things we really liked about the Escape is that there is so much to do around the ship. That gives you opportunities to get away from the crowds if you so choose. Good luck with your planning and have a great vacation!
Thank you for that! We are planning for December. And I did watch another video yesterday that said the same thing you did and there being plenty to do which I’m really hoping for because there is a lot on that particular ship that I am interested in.
The tour provides zero information about the ship itself, its history or its engineering. As if none of the thousands of passengers are either sailors or historians of ships. It might be worthwhile to add a segment to address this omission.

Wow, thanks so much! That really means a lot!
This is the best video I have found for a full tour! Thank you!!!
Thank you!
I have seen many Escape tours but yours has a more laid back, informative style. Thank you.
Thanks! 😊
The Escape is our next ship we’re going to cruise. I’ve been watching videos on it for days but your video was by far THE BEST!
Thanks! Have a great vacation 😎
My husband join this ship 1 month ago as a chef

The NCL Escape is a great choice for any of it's itineraries!
I would go with Princess rather than NCL.
@@reneesutherland4959 I ended up choosing NCL
I just now booked my very first SOLO Cruise on Norwegian Escape to Belize, Honduras and Mexico for New Year's Eve 2024-25

After cruising recently on the NCL Escape, we definitely prefer Royal Caribbean. And the only drinkable coffee for me was in our room lol
Thank you …sailing on July 3 .!!
Great video
The Escape is by far my favourite NCL ship , great options for kids and awesome staff, need to mention Johnson , a great guy at the Garden cafe
It is a great ship. So much to do for everyone.
Thanks for the upload. I see there are opportunities for itchy dancing feet.

Maybe NCL could help you with your nerdiness!
