Ugh yess I found a new appreciation for my hair when my mom made me get it relaxed. Been growing out my hair for almost 2 years to the date and haven't used any heat on my hair since dec. 2020😁

My 9y/o has extremely thick hair with the tightest curls. I really want to loc her hair but she continues to go back and forth. I'll be three years loc'd at the end of the month and daddy is 6+ years loc.

On a serious note, they are at that age where they are tired of waiting so long to make their hair. As they grow into teenagers they'll start loving the process again as long as they know it will come out beautiful. The McClure fam rocks.

I'm 38 years old and I remember starting to do my own hair around 12/13. I would do simple ponytails and apply way too much products. I have four children, 3 girls and a boy. My girls are 12, 9, and 3. I still do their hair. I do twist for my oldest and cornrows for my 9 y/o. I keep their hair in protective styles so I don't have to do it weekly.
It took myself and my Grandmother to do my daughter's hair , the neighbors probably thought we were murdering her. She had long curly locks that would matt...detangler only helped a little. She hated anyone touching her hair so it was a fight always. Grandma would hold her because she could calm her .

When ami said I wasn’t allowed to go through the phase of not doing my hair... I felt that!!! I wasn’t given an option either 😂😂😂

I remember once when I was getting my hair cut and styled. Two men brought in a blonde haired teen girl and told the lady to cut the girls hair short because she never took care of her hair. The girl was in tears. She audibly cried the entire time. The hair dresser was trying to be so nice to the girl. She shampoo'd her hair, combed out all the tangles and cut her hair between shoulders and chin. She asked the girl if she liked bangs or no bangs. It looked really cute when she was finished. The girl was still in tears when she left. I kind of felt sorry for her, but she was old enough to be taking care of her own hair. I don't know what relationship the two men were to her, but I thought they could use a trim and a shave if they were being so judgmental.
Love how Jersey was like nope and gone! Love the ending is was too cute!

Okay guys, this vid is all out full of family fun. The girls are in total hysterics and loving every minute of it. They remind me of when we were growing up and one of my siblings would play the monster or ghost coming to get us. We would scream bloody murder at the highest decibel, running through the house laughing and being afraid all at the same time...oh the fun childhood memories...keep making them with your children, they'll always remember these times.

My sister does mine and im there for two days
9 years old. My mom used to wash and braid my hair,, once per week. I begged her to let me do my hair. I ended up breaking-off my beautiful long hair because I wanted to do my own hair. My school picture that year, I had about an inch of hair (earlier that year my hair was down my back), and it was sticking up all over there place. 🤪

My daughter is not very good at doing hair and is also so busy, When I get the twins for the weekend the girls hair is a mess. She gives me a hard time. I grew up with very long hair and also did my daughter's long hair, so her tears do not phase me. Just like your girls she loves it once it is done. My daughter also appreciates it. My granddaughter also does gymnastics, so you can only do certain styles. I am happy to be able to help her out. My grandson is just Like Jersey he hates for me to brush his hair. The best solution for him is to keep his hair cut low, but it grows so fast
I think they learned to appreciate their beautiful hair & won't be complaining anymore. If they didn't, I learned it for them😌 Cute video.

Well I am a really big fan I am an kids hair dresser also and if kids have long hair like Ava and Alexis and they don't like to comb their hair you should cut like four or five inches of their hair and it will grow longer than how it is now and when you cut it they will want to comb it just trust me on this one good luck .

I had really long hair until I was 14 when I had it cut just below my shoulders. Usually I washed it almost every day. My mom would put it in a ponytail and braid it or I'd have two ponytails. If I wore my hair down I put barrettes to hold it back or wore a headband. The thing I hated most about long hair was that it would tangle when I'd go swimming if it was down. I didn't have to sit to have conditioners or oil put in my hair.

Mine did and is the same at 7-9. I dread doing my 7y/o hair. I actually do her's last because I just can't. I love the salon idea my husband is all in board. I'm so going to do that. She actually hates the washing process but ok with styling.
Maybe put a TV on the wall& they can watch movies while getting their hair done. Girls take alot of work.
