    How much do I love that I'll be making this transition in the year of the Serpent in 2025! In the Tarot, my zodiacal card is Strength. The letter Teth of the Hebrew alphabet is meaning snake. I embraced this transition into the Crone, but you have opened up a whole new perspective! Many thanks and much love.

      @@AlchemyofMenopause You are spot on! It is in my soul destiny to disseminate the knowledge I gather. I'm preparing to create my first tarot deck and write the guidebook to go along with it. I am in infant stages, of course, but I have compiled several journals from daily pulls. Perhaps my second book can focus on tarot during the transition to the Crone. Thank you so much for seeing me. I see you as well and I think your teachings are much needed in these times. So many women are taught to work against rather than with their bodies. Many men as well but that is not my area, of course. Much love to you, friend.

    This is fabulous, I hope your work reaches far and wide. At 64, I still have the occasional hot flash - I call them heat waves - and smile about it. That rising heat always felt healthy to me. Like my power rising. It makes me sad that so many women have been bamboozled into believing that the signs of our growth are “symptoms” of our decline to be resisted and suppressed.
    You are doing GOOD WORK here!

    So beautiful.
    I have been on a similar yet different journey. It helps and inspires me to know that although sometimes I feel alone in my wishes and hopes. More women are feeling, speaking, teaching and sharing what could not be destroyed, hidden within.
    Poetry, writing, stories have risen with my heat, yet I never imagined being an Author. My first book Bird Song will be published by Pegasus in January.
    "I have become a skilful dancer with the fierce goddess of heat" So empowering, I'll remember that quote.
    Step up and lead is the New Moon quote and my wishes.
    "I wish Bird Song to fly into the hands of many women.
    I wish the voices of the wells to speak again and you are one of them.
    I wish to be wealthy.
    I dream of using my wealth to build women's sanctuaries. Small, beautiful, sustainable houses in new growth forest. Rewilding throughout the world.
    Arts and craft taught and practiced.
    A place to stay until your ready to step out again. Or stay forever. Safe and free.
    Will you dream with me?"
    Writing it, makes it real.

    That was a lovely meditation! I respect kundalini as a powerful energy to be danced with. Also aware that according to eastern medicine (original, traditional medicine), the liver can overheat due to suppression of emotions and digestive imbalances. Over time this can result in a fury of heat to rise upward into the head. Practicing qigong these last ten years, along with a simple diet filled with plenty of greens helps to gentle the kundalini experience.

      For some people, no amount of meditation, yoga or breathing relieves menopause symptoms. Even people who can control & move kundalini energy can suffer from the symptoms. Menopause also brings bone density loss, lipid imbalances, changes in ligament & tendons, etc. Some women experience decades of hot flashes. Yes, all of these suggestions are very helpful and can support integration, however, there are options to have relief & prevent the other issues with menopause. You can still go on a spiritual journey without having debilitating hotflashes. Do not ignore the other health issues of menopause by taking a spiritual approach. You can be a "wise woman" without having hotflashes, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, and pain.

    Not going through menopause but Jesus this entire year I had intense heat inside my body (the most intense in solar plexus for months) now it’s a relaxing heat that moves sometimes to my heart area or my back.
    I know it’s different from a hot flash because I had hot flashes when I used to have nightmares when I was a teen, this heat feels like it’s coming from within me. I feel it daily (in a gentle way) and I even look forward to it.

    My kundalini completely ignighted in my spine and guided me to certain exercises that magnified it even more. I was flying high for five years while I was also peaking in menapause. I already had a kundalini equation before menopause and kundalini activation sorta went side by side. Not easy. Burned off everything I ate and I got really skinny then couldn't digest anything and it brought out all kinds of latent illness which I'm still balancing 10 years later.

    First time in your channel , ytb had this on my feed. Some years ago i start having hot flashes. I discovered then, that they were triggered by thoughts. The first time i saw the connection the thought was constitutional amendments, i was like that triggered my hot flash? It was really cool, making the connection. Then, i realized every time that my boss will say, i have an idea, that will trigger them too. Her ideas were always causing more problems than solutions. Later i discovered, i can stopped them by tapping on my head. And later i discovered that sugar, triggered them. Once i stopped having sweets, the hot flashes totally went away. Your take is really interesting, and makes sense. If i have one again, i will do what you suggest. Thanks for sharing.

      Interesting how these very linear things like constitutional amendments and your bosses hierarchic ideas triggered hot flashes - they were going against your natural soulful needs. And yes sugr is a biggy- in a way when we go for sugar we are trying to sooth something but it does the opposite,

  • @yaki-moon
    @yaki-moon 24 дні тому +2

    Thank you for your explanation. This makes a lot of sense.
    When it started it was too much, too quick in row and too intense. I was exhausted, my clothes were wet from the sweat and the flash held on until I ran outside and stood in the cold. I used medication for a while. Then, I started waning them off. Now I'm without any medication, and it's bearable. Hotflashes are now mostly triggered by an intense feeling of shock or anxiety and sometimes just by wearing too many clothes in a warm car😅
    I'm very interested in what you say about the kundalini. I haven't had children and my period was always weak, like it couldn't get started and then there was a feeling of "okay, leave it". I had one time a kundalini experience, just on the verge of being awake/sleeping. I felt and "saw" the kundalini energy slowly going up through my spine and then coming to a standstill at my 3rd eye. All very calmly, no great exlposion through my crown chakra, just like my period always has been, very diminished. Nevertheless, that day I was in bliss, had more energy, and felt on top of the world❤

    • @AlchemyofMenopause
      @AlchemyofMenopause  23 дні тому

      That's great that your kundalini energy rises calmly and you are able to see it, benefit from it...What do you think is the core feminine wound that you are healing and transforming during this powerful menopausal inititation?

    • @yaki-moon
      @yaki-moon 23 дні тому +1

      @AlchemyofMenopause it's has probably to do with sinking more and more in my femininity, something that has been put aside by me for a long time. My mother wasn't well, much suffering from tiroid problems after giving birth to us, overweight, always tired, had no energy. I was basically on my own having to deal with my first periods, boy friend, leaving the house... I only saw me being a woman as a burden. Meanwhile that has changed a lot, but still work to do there🙏

    Wonderful information! I am already about five years into menopause, so I wish I had encountered you when I was going through these changes. For, as a spiritual seeker, I was convinced that there must be some higher purpose to the hot flashes. I have such faith in nature and the natural processes of the body. None of the dialogue about medication or the horrors of menopause resonated with me. When they woke me up in the middle of the night, it was usually just before I was about to have a flash, and I would just lie there and notice And be present with the energy moving through my body. I found it fascinating to observe! But it was inconvenient being woken up so many times in the middle of the night over a period of years. But I never found them uncomfortable. I was fortunate that they were not so intense as I hear other women experiencing I was just very curious about the energy moving through my body.May all the women who need this information Find you.🙏🌿💫

    I’m menopausal and Ive had a kundalini awakening and I feel one has nothing to do with the other. Or at least your explanation hasn’t convinced me. Menopause is a physical and hormonal process of change and kundalini is a spiritual awakening process. What you’re saying is vague, confusing and I don’t think you’ve experienced Kundalini energy.

    • @AlchemyofMenopause
      @AlchemyofMenopause  18 днів тому +13

      Hi Nadi, I think it would be interesting for you to look at what is behind all these comments - usually if we don't agree with someone we move on unless there is something more going on. You listen to my videos to criticize - for me that's very interesting in itself. Sending you love on your journey. By the way I m a quarter Indian and experienced a kundalini awakening in 1990 in India.

    • @kellykay217

      I have to agree that I can’t correlate kundalini with menopause. I had a kundalini awakening at age 36 when my kids were little after intense series of years of daily mediation and energy work. It is NOT a sensation of heat, for me anyway - it was a complete dissolving of my self into the Oneness of all creation, Tons of creative energy moving through me, and a release of old deep wounds. I have not hit menopause yet myself so I don’t know how it will change that energy but I guess I’ll find out….
      BTW The original commentator should be allowed to question everything, imho. We are allowed to have our own experiences and points of view. No need to make her feel like there is something wrong for disagreeing with you. Maybe she’s trying to protect women from thinking they’ve had a spiritual kundalini awakening when really they are just hormonally changing. ❤

    • @AlchemyofMenopause
      @AlchemyofMenopause  15 днів тому +2

      @@kellykay217 Hi Kelly, I just noticed that the commentator listened to all the videos and criticized them all - I wondered why she bothered to listen to so much of someone she disagreed with that is all. Of course people can critize and disagree, but usually if a teacher isn't for you she isn't for you...but we don't need to stay around just to disagree or f we do it makes me wonder what is being triggered thats all.
      The way I see the energy of kundalini during menopause is like the Buddhist, Tummo meditators and the fierce goddess of heat - it's also contained through the fact that it is a natural process coming through the body rather than being worked on and aimed for. through meditation. It's softer but that doesn't make it less spiritual. I agree with Marion Woodman when she says Becoming crone is spiritualizing matter xx

    I've had spontaneous Kundalini rising, and it's completely different from menopause hot flushes. I think you may be trying to find a connection between the two but it's very different. Hot flushes are connected to hormones, food, drink and the metabolism, not spiritual energy

      @@nicki3668 hi Nick, it’s not because something is triggered by hormones that it isn’t spiritual. That’s the whole problem with menopause in our current very patriarchal value system. We are not honoring the power and spiritual aspect of this state that has huge potential for inner transformation and spiritual growth. I had a kundalini awakening when I lived in India (I’m a quarter Indian). What’s so great about hot flashes is that the rising energy is natural and not forced. As Marion Woodman the amazing jungian analyst who took depth psychology into the feminine said, becoming cringe is all about spiritualizing matter. The body and its natural processes ARE spiritual. ❤️

    Kundalini Awakening is a rare, deeply transformative spiritual process that ultimately leads to enlightenment/liberation. Yogis and other spiritual seekers, meditate for decades and don’t awaken the Shakti energy. This is certainly not something that routinely awakens in menopausal women!
    I think hot flashes are often related to an imbalance of Pitta Dosha, hence why they tend to be aggravated by spicy foods, alcohol and other things that increase Pitta.

      Hi Marie, It's earth energy - I spent a year in India and had a kundalini awakening (i'm also a quarter Indian) . I'm sick of reducing women's most empowering potential to symptoms - its so reductive. As Marion Woodman, the amazing Jungian analyst who took depth psychology into the feminine said, crone wisdom is spiritualizing matter. We need to honor menopause as a deeply spiritual experience. I have been working with hundreds of menopausal women over ten years and have witnessed time and again once they have the road map there's no stopping them. If we continue this reductive narrative about women going through menopause we will prevent women attaining true wise woman stature in the world when the world needs it the most xx

      @mariej5319 17 днів тому

      @ I accept some of what you’re saying, I just don’t accept the menopause/kundalini narrative. I also feel that many people who claim to have had a kundalini awakening have actually experienced heightened pranic activity/prannotthana. A true and complete Kundalini Awakening is extremely rare, takes many years to fully integrate and results in a complete neurophysiological transformation. I commend what you’re trying to do i.e. empower menopausal / post menopausal females, but for me the menopause/kundalini narrative downplays the seriousness of an intense (and sometimes destructive) spiritual process.

      I luckily rarely have hot flashes (yet), and the rare occasion I have one it is a short subtle one.
      However when I take too much of my current favorite hot ginger drink, I get a fit of hyperrage.
      Also the food supplement co enzym Q10 has the same effect.
      The high tension in my body, irritability and short temper are my most prominent perimenopause symptoms (along with a completely erratic menstrual cycle) so I spend lots of money on anything that calms me down, but sometimes the maximum dose of valerian root or extra strong sleep tea just doesn't cut it and then I'm thankful for the existence of Xanax.

      Hi Alexandra - thanks for your comment, but I have to beg to differ and to emphasis that a lot of the problem of what is happening for women during menopause is that its extremely deep meaning and potential for consciousness development is not being honored. Menopause is NOT illness its a doorway to the next thirty years of a woman's life and a portal to her wisdom when lived through consciously.

    I am wondering what drives women to gatekeep and police (at least, that is how it feels to me) other women's Kundalini experiences - is there a belief that menopausal women haven't 'worked' for it? Or is there a sense that Kundalini awakening is a 'one and done' activity rather than a cyclical process that unfolds over a woman's life in their own unique way? Or are these technical objections because of the complexities and dogma of the ancient tradition that this concept comes from? I'm not judging the commenters or attributing motivation - just curious and trying to make sense of what lies beneath all of this.
