I don't have one I've been riding on a 22 inch Zildjian K crash ride from 1988(the awesum ride) not retiring it but looking for a new ride 2gig with I'd like the traditional but the brilliant is a slight darker pitch it's like trying to pick a chick at the Bunny Ranch I just don't know anymore

I wouldn’t pick Sabian. I’d either stick with Zildjian or Meinl (believe it or not but they make really good cymbals). Every time I’ve tried a Paiste or Sabian cymbal they’ve all sounded like clanky aluminum and tin cans.

I never really cared for Neil’s cymbal sound when he switched to Sabian. The bell of his ride cymbal is ear splitting. It sounds like a railroad crossing bell.

the whole line is so heavy and flat sounding, although I love the end result on Clockwork Angels especially. 747's are big f'n sticks with a huge bead and without doubt have a huge influence on the end result.

Rock weight Rides are suppose to have a loud and penetrating bell. Of course it’s all relative. Play an HH Power Bell Ride and this bell will sound weak.
