Hi I am planning to buy a ev scooter but confused between vida v1 pro and ather 450x HR..vida is around 1.5 right now in Bangalore which is around 30000 cheaper than ather..range of both are more or less same..i am looking for a long lasting reliable ev scooter which will give less trouble n less range anxiety..plz suggest..
Ola doesn't need service The belt tightens automatically i am using Ola since last 1 year i haven't done any service just changed some broken parts for free and ola has so good regen that i don't think I'll need brake pads change soon i don't use brake just in case of emergency

yes even i completed more than 20k kms on my ola and no problem in the belt , the ola scooter’s belt is even more strong than a cars belt and minor parts got replaced in my scooter . Conclusion- ola is the best ev in India and worth the money
Pradeep, Michelin Pilot Street 2 is also a good option for Ather as it's a soft compound tire. I guess with this tire you wouldn't experience yhe rear locking up pretty easily...
However, it's only available in 90/90 section, which should be okay considering Gen 1 & 2 came equipped with similar section tires...
Any low rolling resistance tyre options apart from Mrf?

10:44 I also changed My Old Gen 2 Mirrors to Gen 3 it costed me around Rs 1350 Approx.. in Nagpur , Maharashtra. I just want more Range from Gen 2 and Better comfort.
The major setback for Ather is there subscription services & the most irritating is to pay for map & app, they should provide this free as other manufacturers.
Please give me a idea what will be the servicing cost if we don't opt for Subscription pack???
How much warranty, they provided for Vida. They have any optional extended warranty by paying money like ather.
I also changed the tyre and I also had sarvice subscription but the ather dealer in Hubli charged me extra rs 380 as sarvice charge
Its little surprising to know Athar has service subscription!!. I owns a OLA S1 pro and raided till 3800km and haven't done any service till now. My fellow brother has OLA S1 pro, raided 11000+ KM. Till now he spent 700 RS for service to change break pads. I think OLA doing great and takes no amount in the name of subscriptions for hypercharger, services, using features etc but Ather has yearly subscriptions for using hypercharger (If I am not wrong), for map etc. People need to pay for service subscription to get offendable pries and on top of that it is giving less range!!! and scooters are over praised after subsidy
I have both Ola and Ather. Ola isn't as reliable as Ather. When my Ather says it has 45kms left, I know it can go 45 KMs without a problem. Heck, I've gotten 100kms in sports mode on highways. Cannot say the same for Ola. It's battery has it's own mind. Next time you have your ola services, you'll know exactly why they're so cheap.
Ather also handles much better (there's no comparison here, honestly). Only thing Ola has going for it is its cost. But TVS iqube seems like a much better value proposition in my opinion.
Ola: New company which is yet to make profits. New to two wheeler manufacturing.
Ather: Been in the market for 10 years and they have a mature product now.
TVS: Has decades of experience in the two wheeler market and has some damn good scooters and bikes in their ICE lineup. When they decide to go full in on EVs, they're gonna leave other companies behind. Iqube is already such a good scooter. But TVS prefers selling ICE over EV currently, unfortunately.

₹1600 is little pricey. I bought the stock tyres in JC road for ₹1000 it’s the hardest compound available and it’ll last the longest.

Tip of advice :- Buy Ather Service Lite Subscription of 800Rs and get belt, brake pads replaced and other minor issues fixed validity till 3 months.🙂

Tyre change is happening at 18k km itself, Ather should work on this. In my petrol vehicle i had to change once 40k Km.
And brake pads are also getting spoiled too fast.

I just completed my first service in gen 3 about 5 k km and they charged around 450/- i ride regular basis about 50 to 70 km so i just wanted to know if its better to take the subscription or not ? As it normally cost is 450 only so

It is a 100% that when ever they do something with rhe belt during service the Ather suddenly feels like new and buttery smooth to ride, it also makes a soothing sound of the belts. After some days it goes back to normal thought. I just wish that could be permanent 🤧
I heard that they apply some silicon spray over the belt or chain hence it starts working as new.

i don't think chetak have removable battery. though portable chargers are provided for all scooters. But I don't understand why bounce cannot be charged. I own infinity and I charge the battery at my home. Other scooters from okinawa and other brands also provide removable batteries. He is completely wrong.

In simple analogy activa servicing is like eating road side simple tasty 😋 and cheap on the opposite the ev is like high fansy restaurant foods looks fany and costly and very less 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i will stick with my activa 5g😍😘
I am using Bajaj chetak and have completed 8500 km and second servicing is done it cost me 84 Rs for second servicing. Absolutely zero maintenance.

Ather 450x is having handel shake issue.
Being an owner of 450x, Ather mudguard is useless front and back mud splash is really high on wet roads.
Don't buy this scooter.
Front assembly has lot of vibration and shake issue.
