18:00 Switch trick if possible: Use outside switch to open. Close with inside switch while standing outside (or on a lift, or whatever... not inside the hiding spot). Use outside switch again (it will be red, but will open the hiding spot). Go inside. Close using inside switch.
indeed. All Scrap Man had to do with the Toilet, was turn around and hit the inside switch, ride it back up, then activate it a second time to turn it off.
Worse yet, I remember him doing that exact thing, using the inside switch from outside to reset it, before in the early hide and seek maps.

If you look closely the clock on the clocktower actually indicates how much time is left for the seeker !

I finally released a Hide and Seek map for Scrap mechanic I've been working on for a while- the Complex. May be something you would enjoy, It'd certainly mean a lot, no pressure tho!
There's also a Mario hide and seek map recently released by someone that is super impressive!
The 4 player Hide and Seek definitely needs to make a return the extra turn to hide makes watching much more enjoyable.
It amazes me how scrap man can go from the the two worst spots imaginable to one of the greatest.
2:24 suggestion to mapmapers if you want to make buttons into switches all you need to do is make a 1 tick pulse using like 4 logic gates(one and/or gate hooked into 2 and gates and a xor, one of the and gates is hooked into the xor and the xor is hooked into the other and gate, then hook the 1 tick into 3 linked xor gates for a button into switch setup.
Or just use a timer & have the player hold as long as they want, having it top out at like 1s or so...

Scrapman when trying to hide in places like the outhouse instead of trying to game the outside switch stand on the platform and trigger the inside switch, this will close it with you outside but with the outside switch active, then just turn it off to reopen the hiding spot.

Sometimes I feel like Kan doesn't turn off the hud because of how he locks on people with 100% accuracy from time to time

Scrapman could've done a big brain and got out of his spot in the tunnel, shoot while he's outside, and then got back in

with the switches, assuming there is one inside the hiding spots, you could activate the first one then go in activate the one that closes it while on outside of the hiding spot then go back in turning the switch off
Your videos get better when all four of you assemble. Could you do some mm challenge together next time?
I think i have a suggestion many have probably thought of before, and that is to get some sort of free cam mod so that you can follow the seeker while your hiding. I think it could make for more interesting hiding perspectives.

hey scrapman, here's an idea: it would be cool to see a reverse hide-and-seek challenge(a.k.a sardines)...one player would be hiding, and the rest are seekers. Once a person finds the spot where the hider is, that person would hide with the hider until there's only one seeker left (the only con would be the amount of hiding spots there are on a map, and the size of them to have enough room for people to fit in it)

i miss seeing you guys compete in building challenges.
Have they done a hide and seek game where the hiders that were caught sit in some cage and any remaining hiders can risk capture to release them? I feel like for that to work, the map has to either be huge or super detailed, or both. Plus the episode length would rival feature length films, but I'm not complaining if the content's good.

I would love too see another scrap mechanic survival series. I mean I love all off your videos, but the nomad and the Mars survival series were the best in my opinion. In any case keep up the amazing work
Multiplayer Monday request: you should go into each others garages, build either a big random size block, or like 3 medium ones. Then you go back to your garage and you need to use those pieces you received in a race.

I love how it took scrapman a bit to realize just where he hid
Your recent tank 3v3 balttle video made me think that someone should make a maze hide and seek map in Scrap Mechanic. Much smaller than that tank battle map, of course. Have switches to open up hidden passages in the walls, or have statues or other objects at the ends of dead end paths.
imagine a mode where 3 hiders have to drive slower than walking vehicles with explosives through the maze, with one seeker who gets to run has to pop them all.
hiders have to use maze shortcuts, and sitting still to keep their vehicle quiet, and get a 2 min head start. if a hider reaches the end, the hiders win

Another week...
Day 134 of asking for a Multiplayer Monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot in the mechanic station. Everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, gathering their own materials. No glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races their builds
I thought this was the same video we got but no just another version of the map 😅 great hiding and finding

l love the vids... you def help me get through the day and im 34 and still loving these multi-player mondays
feel like the switches need to be buttons with a timer, so you press it and after a few seconds whatever openend will close by itself. the switches have no light indicator at all and can be painted to better fit into the environment.

Look ... You have to open the switch outside the hiding spot then open the one inside it while still standing on the door to the hiding spot ... Now you'll be above the ground so you have to click on the switch outside the hiding spot again to close it and it will appear red and you'll be under the ground so move away from the door ... Now you'll have to click on the switch inside the hiding spot to close it and close the hiding spot and not be caught

Couldn't you more consistently turn off the outside switch if you close the hiding spot with the inside switch, without getting in, and then open it again with the outside switch?
Some switches it would be impossible, but Scrapman could could have used this with the rock, for example.
Idea; What if the players that were found, also had to turn their HUD off to avoid accidentally helping the Seeker find the Hider?
I really think you guys should have done the hide and seek before the heist. It would have been easier to do the heist

I can't believe you only just found out about using ads for switches, also you could've pressed the inside-switch for the poophouse spot then pressed the one under the bowl & lastly pressed the inner switch again to make the one under the bowl red again.
