I noticed another spot in that room. If you stand on top of the room when it flips back up, there’s a little nook in the wall above the room that you can hide in
This is my favorite variation of the hide-and-seek rules so far. I've felt for a while that it'd be nice to have a version where the winner is who hides the longest instead of who finds the fastest.
Dare I say this has got to be the best map you've done so far. It's not just "find the switch that opens the spot" but there are tons of "find the switch that does something" and then you use that something as a means to find spots. For example the flipping room was genius, as you could hide either directly in the door that is revealed, crawl under the room, or even ride the room back up and hide up in a crevice. The same goes for the flipping bookshelf not only being an entrance to the backrooms but also revealing the vent to the seeker's room. This map actually makes use of Scrapmechanic with the flipping room and small physics puzzles. You can find spots by thinking about the interactions that happen when a switch is pressed, instead of finding a switch being equivalent to finding a spot. I really hope more map makers will create maps like this. Also the format was a nice refresher, it's fun not knowing where anyone is, and not being locked into a spot
Maybe finding somebody should also get points, so: 1 point for finding someone. 0 points for the first one found 2 for the second one, 4 for the last one found
I'm blown away by that spinning room. If you guys are up for suggestions I made a hide and seek map called "Toight Tower Hide and Seek" that I think y'all might like.
Do this again but the seeker should get 1 points for every player they find so even if you get found first you still have the opportunity to score points could get very competitive
I am usually one who hates Mondays and often has to be up for a 5:30am start (only a 4hr shift that day). I love going to bed each night and seeing a scrapman video posted roughly when i go to bed (im aussie). Multiplayer Monday makes my mondays good
I feel like there should be points offered to the seekers for finding people. 1 point per person. But that would also mean youd have to make it so 2nd person found gets 2 points, and last person found gets 3 points. This way, even if you're found early, you still have some fun and motivation in actively finding the other hiders.
This was a great concept for a hide and seek video! Maybe next time as an incentive for the seeker they should get bonus points based on few hints were given before finding everyone.
I have an idea for a Trailmakers video: SPACE BATTLESHIPS! You could do a multiplayer battle between vessels that have to fight on the first round on the sea and then in the second round in space, without modifications between rounds.
You could maybe give the last found person a bonus point for outlasting the other two by some amount of time. Either just a total time, or say, 15 minutes, or lasting 4-5 minutes beyond the second person found. This would also also for the final round to be more likely to always matter in terms of score. Now, it is possible that someone could be too far ahead to be caught. But giving the second place person a chance to earn 3 points instead of just 2 could make a difference. There is also room for Next Level Strats in this game. Say you are in first place going into the last round by 1 or 2 points. And the other two players can't catch you. (Except maybe with a 3 point round with a bonus.) Whether you are the original seeker or are just found first, you want to make sure that you find the second place player first. Even going so far as the ignore the other two players if you see where they are.
You could try a variation of this where if you find someone, they become a seeker, but the already seeker goes on and hide. The person that was less found is the winner. Moving is allowed.
I would propose following rules: Hide and seek, as soon as someone is found he will become an additional seeker. For every person you find you get 1 point. The first person found gets 1 point, the second person gets 2 points and the third person gets 3 points. It's best if you got found last, but if you get found earlier you can make up the points by being the one who finds the others. This way the game stays exciting until the end because there is still competition for the finder point. And you keep the wanted acceleration in the endgame with 3 seekers. (Technically you will get at least 1 point per round which I know is a little bit redundant but hey, it makes the math easier.)
I am so glad the editor did not zoom in on scrap mans face when he found his first hiding spot. Its so much better to see his reaction not in your face!😃
this has got to be the most I've laughed watching any video in a while. great job mapmaker, this one is brilliant. and thank you Scrap Man and the boys for the good times.
Instead of points, you should add up the total time you were hiding from each round. It's fair that way and gives the opportunity for upsets and comebacks. But I am glad you switched it up, this style of hide n seek is more fun imo.
For example what if someone got found first the first two rounds, but their third round they found a God spot, making their total hiding time more than the others, they'd still loose because they only got 2 points. It also gives the last round more tension because the last place person can still win.
VIDEO IDEA Hey scrapman, remember that video where you build that all in one vehicle, with the truck wheels? Try too rebuild it but for space, high sea and land wall klimbing, fly and hover proposed. Mauby even with a mod you can build it with youzi
Should either go for who hides the longest all together or there should be some method for gaining points by finding people, so the seeker has a chance to get 3 points but the found people have a chance for points as well. Having 4 people play made it possible and fun.
Maybe next time, you guys could try a variant of these rules that I've seen: The winner is the person with the highest total amount of time they were hidden. That way, anyone who is found is actually motivated to help find others, and the last person hiding still has reason to stay hidden.
Maybe have like a 10-15 second cooldown after being found before you help seek. So if you know someone knows where you were hiding, you better get the hell out fast. Or maybe the person found has to run back to the starting room before he can then start seeking. Just something to give other seekers a little bit of time to make a risky dash.
Your videos are always amazing but I have a request on trailmakers if you could do a video where all you and your friends do a challenge where all of you have to build and fly an F-22 Raptor
Sooo, as fun as the hide and seek MMs are, I really do miss the building challenges/ battles/ races. Even if you guys revisited some old ones or something that would be really cool and well received I think
Hide and seek but you can’t stay in the same spot for more than a minute. Once you leave a spot you should mark it in some way and no one can move into a marked spot.
Scrapman, I looked under that room that drops and there's a switch you could activate and make it drop down and then can could go across and you could let it back up then you would be hiding there.
I say no one can use hud but you guys can move from your spots and run just to make it fair for the seeker and hider so you guys cant see where the hunter is and make it challenging, andddd you guys should try playing sardines for a video
That map was the most wacky and wonderful yet; that rotating room was brilliant!
I noticed another spot in that room. If you stand on top of the room when it flips back up, there’s a little nook in the wall above the room that you can hide in
@@quakxy_dukx
Saw that too
@@quakxy_dukx i think scrapman saw it too but refused on hiding in there, i don’t blame him, hiding in the same room 3 times is not good content wise
*THE **-BACK-** BATHROOMS*
this H&S map is mental

yeah good switch up
I think it makes more sense the way it is now cause who hides the longest makes it much more luck dependant
@@tekbox7909 hide and seek isn't really a skill based game ofcourse there's alot of luck involved
Dare I say this has got to be the best map you've done so far. one of the best hide n' seek vids...no hud for all and those found joining the hunt...great upgrade to the challenge, hope to see it again sometime.
The map is great especially altough a bit claustrophobic because you can't really see outside from anywhere.
2:14 My goodness, his face after finding that spot has got to be up there with the best reaction memes of all time. Also, another at 13:12.
When I saw my map in the thumbnail I was flabbergasted. Thanks for playing it.😄
Dude your map is amazing!
Really intricate, nice map
This map is genuinely the best hide and seek map you guys have ever played, its so sick
Scrapman’s face was so funny when the whole room shifted 😂
Maybe finding somebody should also get points, so:
1 point for finding someone.
0 points for the first one found
2 for the second one,
4 for the last one found
I think this is one of those maps that is definitely worth a revisit since you kept finding more spots

yes been waiting for this the entire morning, because there was no hiding episode on last monday
love hide and seek episodes
7:43 Guys I'm stuck in the bathrooms. (backrooms)

Their reactions are just so great when they find new spots
i like how scrapman kept trying to take advantage of the moving spots thing
Very cool ideas in there. The tilting room is great.
You should play the portal series, that cube and button area was a reference to it.
This should definitely be the leading format from now, no hud and all :D
The no hud for anyone rule is so good! It's like irl hide and seek!
Have a mod
hiders see a glow outline of switches and buttons when you go in the room.
Seeker can hear the hider’s heartbeats when you get close.
Multiplayer Monday next week idea, hide and seek with no hud for anyone and moving is allowed 😂😂😂
Scrapmans reaction to the spinning room made my day
There should be a seeker cam for the viewers like if you agree

maybe you should do that every time, now, lol
That was AWESOME!
I find it funny no1 decided to hide at the spot at 16:58
asking scrapman to build a machine that pushes one building into another one, like a domino, in instruments of destruction
Watching this map is like having a bad fever dream. I got lost trying to keep track of where scrap Man went through the bathrooms
This feels like a map that is worth revisiting in a different HnS format
00:18 Sharks and Minnows right? That's what I call it at least
Make a video where you have to have the smallest vehicle to get a point and then if you win a race or some sort of battle, you also get a point

truly a "HIDING IN THE BATHROOMS BACKROOMS AT 3 AM (REAL) (NOT FAKE) (NO CAP FRFR) (SCARY) (VERY DANGEROUS) (ALMOST DIED) (WE KISSED)" video ever

5:00 It would've been hilarious if Moonbo's shots came from the wall opposite kAN, so they're all next to each other.
This one is so ridiculous but I love it
12 minutes ago this was posted, saved my morning routine. Cat chillin on my lap
Yoooo I asked for this idea a while ago, thanks for trying it out!
this map was sick
This is one of the most random maps so far, and because its so random, it just feels like there are still things you have not found
This form of hide and seek is so much nicer😊
i love how he mentioned initial d and i just finished it this morning and the 8 6 is a yes
Do cars vs cars but you can only use minigun for moving
Ooooo no, hud hide and seek nice! This should be very interesting!
Wake up boys, Multiplayer Monday dropped
Lets gooooooooo
One of my favorites maps!
Best map and rules so far for this
when the found hidders become seeker, it should be called Swarming Seeker
You should do a hide n seek where the hiders get the connection to so they can finally find a shot lol
this is just a insane map
Good format. Idea for improvement: Also give points to seekers based on seek time
Next, they should do a video where everybody has hud enabled.
What a creativity
Fun fact the car in the garage is an ae86
Bro this guy is craaazzyyy
Letsgo another hide and seek
Your videos are always amazing but I have a request on trailmakers if you could do a video where all you and your friends do a challenge where all of you have to build and fly an F-22 Raptor

You can call it zombie mode, I am sure I am not the first one to come up with that name.
The only thing make my mondey happy, HIDE AND SEEK!
Hide and seek but you can’t stay in the same spot for more than a minute. Once you leave a spot you should mark it in some way and no one can move into a marked spot.
this rule set was fun and somebody can win in the end.
maybe change the points to 1, 3, 5
First day of asking ScrapMan to play Stormworks
What an insane map xD

I dont know why Scrapman could not find Kan (21:36) when he had been in that spot (8:15)
Finally NO HUD! XD
Oh! I'm in the backrooms again.
This is my summary of this video.
Is kAN looking for the term, Infected Hide-and-Seek? Infected tag of if you get tag you're now part of the tagging team, but in hide 'n seek format?
I say no one can use hud but you guys can move from your spots and run just to make it fair for the seeker and hider so you guys cant see where the hunter is and make it challenging, andddd you guys should try playing sardines for a video
hide and seek zombies is what the game is called were the hiders start seeking aswell once there found
this style is called family tag or hide and seek tag
also 20:15 what a sound
First wooo hide and seek
Nah I was first
you are not first
No you weren't@@treespinner4263
I call this version of hide and seek ‘attrition’ mode!
Lots of map ideas in this one :)
Name for this type of hide and seek: zombie seekers. I used to do this at school😅
