I'm in love with Paul Dano's interpretation of the Riddler, it was quite amazing honestly. Really well played. My favorite character of the movie, even above Batman. Don't get me wrong, Pattinson did it great too.
Being a fan of Se7en and The Bone Collector, I've been wanting a serial killer interpretation of the Riddler in a Batman movie for as long as I can remember. I had high hopes for the Nolan trilogy, but that obviously didn't happen. Jim Carrey's interpretation was neat and all, but the whole movie was just cartoonishly wacky whereas Paul Dano just NAILED it. The wait was worth it.
The riddler was the best in this movie. I was very shocked, scared but really liked him at the same time. I couldn't believe how dark he got like this in this movie.
"What's 30 white horses on a red hill. Always champing, stamping, then standing still?" "What is Voiceless yet it cries, Wingless yet it flutters, Toothless yet it bites and Mouthless yet it mutters?" "What's a box without hinges, key or a lid. Yet golden treasure inside is hid? "What has roots but no one sees, is taller than trees, up and up it goes but never grows?" "I can't be seen and can't be felt. Neither can I be heard or smelt. I come among the stars and under hill, and empty holes I fill. Coming out first and following after, ending life and killing laughter. What am I?" "I'm alive without breath and as cold as death. Wearing an armor of mail that never clinks, I never thirst but always drinks. What am I?" "All things, I devour. Birds, Beasts, Trees and Flowers. Gnawing Iron. Biting Steel. Grinding the hardest stones to meal. Kings and Queens, I've slayed them all. And Mighty Empires are doomed to fall. What am I? "From the Capital of France I live, those who utter my name will never leave. What's my name?"
@@Richwiking318 I never said it has to be rushed As long as it’s a good movie and it’s very good Story written then that’s all I care about Maybe They should do another villain for Batman instead of the joker I mean there’s many Batman villains out to bring them into the movie stop doing the same ones like the joker I’m getting sick of it Like I said there’s many villains for Batman they can bring into the movies instead of doing a joker All the time
The director himself. Well, it was just an approximate thought; maybe he’ll eventually make it in less. It took three years before Nolan could display The dark knight, after Batman Begins.
riddler has always been my favorite villain in the batman universe since the animated series and arkham games and seeing riddler again in the cinema played by one of the best actors of his generation like paul dano is a great pleasure
Still working on themes from Spider-Man! These projects are really big ones for me, plus I've been working a whole lot lately, so I apologize for things taking so long. Decided to go ahead and upload some of the themes from The Batman to let you guys I'm still alive and working on things. Enjoy!
Riddle me this: The man who made it, he does not want it. The man who bought it, he does not need it. The man who needs it, he does not know he needs it. What is it?
I don’t know where im gonna use it; but I’m definitely grabbing this for my Curse of Strahd campaign. Edit: after listening to the complete track twice; it is perfect for Ludmilla, most cunning of Strahd’s Brides. Her short temper and love of elegant things, her subtle tendency to betray those that think her to be a friend. A cat, toying with a mouse. Yes, Ludmilla will do nicely.
Funny enough, I’ve been using it for Acererak. Figured evoking the Riddler for this insane lich obsessed with impossible dungeons and crazy death traps would work pretty well. My players have been enjoying it.
