Thanks so much for all your lovely comments Helen, I'm afraid I'm still learning about UA-cam and hadn't realised that they had to be approved! How exciting that you're doing the PW next year! I'm planning on making some more videos soon on things that I learned while I was walking this year etc. Hopefully you'll find them interesting :)
Your routing seems a little strange - At 9.53 you show a cleft called Kinder Downfall but it seems to be on your right as you approach from the top of Jacob's Ladder. That can't be so - It should be on your left unless your camera has managed to reverse Right and Left.
I am enjoying watching your Pennine Way series of walks and hope you enjoyed the walk to, could you please tell me what map book you were using on your walk.
Hi Howard, so glad you enjoyed the PW videos. Sorry to take so long to respond. Yes, I loved it - hiking is one of my happy places! The map books I used was the Adventure Series A-Z for walkers Pennine Way North and South. Here are the amazon links for you: amzn.to/3u6MuhU (south) and amzn.to/2XEPvJY (north).
I saw that as well Arun, but it is at 5.53 , they must be going backwards to where they came from somehow ,does not make sense. At 7.33 it has somehow corrected itself.
I had a go at the Pennine Way years ago - I got as far as Hayfield. So well done you!
Thanks Deej :)
Hi we really enjoyed this and looking forward to watching the rest of your videos. My husband and I are hoping to do Pennine Way next April/May😊👍

Very nice, how did u manage to find the way bc its not marked very well? Greetings from the Netherlands
The AZ Pennine Way Map books (amzn.to/3LbECoO) were brilliant, and as an emergency backup when really lost I used the OS Maps app on my phone. 🙂
