- This video documents my journey trying to learn Spanish in 2 weeks. I document every few days talking about what techniques I was using to teach myself spanish, and the tools and resources included. At the end of the 2 weeks I decide to test my language skills in a creative way

First nice video bro and I'm in simliar position as you. I have had the opportunity to learn Spanish but I didn't take it serious and switched to and back from French and Spanish just to take an easier class rather than take a higher level language class. Now I find myself committing more of my time trying to learn Spanish than I did in school. Plus I live in the States where there is a sizeable Spanish speakers. But I still would like to travel to Mexico once I feel more comfortable with the language. Can't wait to see both our progress in the coming months.
Thanks, yh definitely difficult if you don’t live in a Spanish speaking country
Can’t wait for Part 2
Proof that Spanish is the easiest language in the world. 👍👍👍👍👍
Wow from your video came to know that we can learn the language this way too.lastly hatsoff to your frankness that language needs some time to get perfect.
Good inspirational video.i would try to learn a language too.thank you for posting.i frequently watching your videos that helping me a lot.
Your voice is really soothing
🙏🙏
Your best video yet, really enjoyed this one!
My bro Nayf, I appreciate that
If you want to carry on practising your Spanish, visit Elephant and Castle, there's a large Spanish-speaking community there. Coffee shops, restaurants etc...props on the Spanish! Animo sigue asi!
oh i might actually try that
Your Spanish is great wow, only took two weeks for you to have a full conversation. Keep up the good work
Let’s see how things go in 4 months hopefully fluent by then
Im a fluent Spanish speaker as that is my first language being born in Puerto Rico, and I can definitely say that your progress in 2 weeks have been absolutely amazing! Im currently trying to learn another language so your content has been really motivational and educational and has helped me to learn more! Thank you!
Totally love that: For every language that a person speaks they live a new life
Respect the honesty and the modesty!! For how many languages you speak, adding Spanish to your repertoire is remarkable.
English is not my born language and after growing up watching cartoons in English, learning English at school, I thought I was quite good at it. That's until I had to interact in English in the UK and my first feeling was I know nothing because it was hard to put words together coherently. I was translating word for word from my native language and it wasn't making sense in English
2nd I couldn't understand different accents and it was like a different language for me.
As you said, learning a language is the first step. To complete the process one has to interact with native language speakers.
Looking forward to seeing your progress!!
I love this video, even now it's so relevant to me on my study journey. . . I'll be 24 this year and I'm just about to enter medical school. . . Been a long story but your videos sure played an important role, along with some other factors, in helping me get my life together. Wanted to share this to encourage you that all you did wasn't in vain. I wish you the best in life, thank you very much Doctor Anas. Love from Nigeria.🇳🇬
Its very impressive how much you improved in so little time. Normally people that are not spanish and come here to live instead of learning spanish they just go and live in communities where there are a lot of english speakers and therefore never learn the language as they dont feel obligated. I went to a britanic school in Spain and literally most of my teachers had the same level of spanish as you, even though they have been living here for +5 years. If you keep watching some tv series in spanish with subtitles or podcasts im sure you will get the language very fast. Great vid :)
Bro thank Allah because u are extremely intelligent and have such a large learning capacity
quality content!!! Should do a Part 2 and maybe turn it into a series??
Yepppp part 2 in 4 months
Respect for the effort you put in to these extremely entertaining videos
Thanks :))
Super dope video!
this was so calm... we need more of this...
Encontré tu canal hace poco y me gusta mucho tu contenido.
Good stuff, respect for your hard work!
Thanks man :))
Anna Butterfly Spanish is the best spanish teacher on youtube
Love the bit of neuroscience in there 😂
Very impressive video- I also studied Spanish til GCSE and forgot most of it- but went to Malaga last month and stayed there 10 days, you actually pick up so much more just by being forced to interact in the language!
Bravo 👏🏽
yh 100%, if you are immersed in the language you will learn it for sure
This is insane! Masha’Allah, good job man.
🙏🙏
I applad your honesty! All these videos about learning Spanish in a week or month are bull! I've been learning every day for about an 1.5 hours average (sometimes more) for over 7 months and you simply can't do it! I can talk and make myself understood but you'll always revert to the words you know and understanding people is the most difficult. How do you lean Spanish? practice every day and then one day due to the compound effect you'll be talking well enough, then you can refine it. Don't set a certain time to accomplish it as you're in no position to set limits to something you don't know enough about. You don't know what you're getting yourself into, it's a very large undertaking . Just enjoy, that's the key, it will happen.
You should add ( I flew to spain ) or something in title. You will get way more views
Yh wasn’t sure whether to add it or keep it just inside the video, I might add it
Anas Nuur Ali LOL that’s the only reason why I clicked this video... cuz it said (i flew to Spain)... I was like hmmm this gonna be interesting
Also- check out the Latin village next to seven sisters station on the Victoria line. Largest Latin American market in London and one of the loveliest places to be
Are you a medical student or are you a professional UA-camr 😂 mashallah
love this video
Amazing 😉
Loool hopefully both 🤷🏾♂️💙
Loved this video, keep it up and make sure to reply to me in spanish.

Regards from Spain bro! Your Spanish is so good man.Keep progressing and thanks for the video❤️🙏🏻
It's a great step to take, however going to perhaps take time but you know, its worth it in the long run. going to Malaga was actually courageous.
Yh deffo worth it. Lool I don’t even know how I went ahead with that idea 🤣
Thanks for your honesty. Enjoyed watching the video.
Nws thanks for watching
Wow, your Spanish level is veery decent to be honest
Many people say that our language is hard and it is certainly, so congrats on your achievement.
Honestly from 0:25 to 0:55 is about the coolest off-the-cuff freestyle I've ever seen
Solo dos semana!? Buen trabajo.
Hey! I’m Spanish , and well, you have a good level having studied spanish for only two weeks , my congratulations!
I’ve moved to Spain a month ago and I must say you are very smart guy mashallah I can’t just barely understand but not hold a conversation
Your med school journey along with your polyglot journey is nice to follow. Keep up with the videos.
Your accent seems good already and it’ll be fun watching you improve. Hopefully you’ll look back at this in about a year and see how far you’ve progressed.
Här kommer lite tips som jag gett mina vänner som håller på lära sig franska och spanska;
Wow this is so useful!! Thank you so much for writing this up

Ughh we had to watch extra in Spanish class I hated it 🤦🏾♀️😂 I also wish I tried more in Spanish class but I’ve been doing more to improve over summer. Skillshare is really good and HelloTalk is amazing for practicing speaking with people :)
Love this video btw!!
Ahh thanks!! I haven’t tried skillshare I might try iTalki apparently that’s quite good
I must say that when i speak in Spsnish I tend to feel a little tired especially after long conversations as I consider this to be my 3rd language due to the fact that even though it comes so natural to me I still have some difficulties speaking some words. I have never studied Spanish, although I should cause my grammar needs some hard work but so far my Spanish was very useful in the UK. But until I moved here I had no idea that I can speak Spanish, I took a job in an UK airport and I had to speak Spanish with some passengers and I was absolutely surprised of the words I knew and all. But at the same time I have always loved English and Spanish languages and I feel like, for me, if I love one language by hearing other speaking it, it’s easy to pick it up. I am now learning Italian which is quite fun.
You did really well, this is great!
thanks :)
Bro if i show this to my Spanish teacher she would be hella confused like: why is he talking about the cerebral cortex and the brain bro i just learnt it by books . but bro i love how your so dedicated to the vids you actually went to spain. 10/10. Keep up the hard work :)

I would love to see a video on finding free tigrinya language learning resources. I’m Eritrean (who speaks 4 languages) and looking for resources to relearn my native language. I was able to find the basics, but I’m looking for a comprehensive resource to learn conversational Tigrinya. Maybe you can create those resources for us here on your channel 😉
The spanish you learnt in 2 weeks is better than the spanish i’ve learnt in 2 years in school lol

Good job bro
If you really want to learn a new language, you can begin by learning to change a statement into a question and vice-versa.
Any tips on learning arabic? Just stuck on duolingo and baffled by the dialects. Much love bro and an absolute banger of a vid!
Yh dialects can make it really difficult, I would say watch a lot of Arabic content that should help loads
