@@adoniscrashboom does he have a UA-cam? I’m not on TikTok.
@@adoniscrashboom Yeah, but at several points you are not really being fully honest. African Americans were not listed in the U.S. Census in any real numbers until after the Civil War. We were listed as property but not with names. Just sex, age and monetary value. You are obviously smart so I don't believe you don't actually know that. Africans have maintained their family lineage for thousands of generations. through Griots. Very few African Americans can document their ancestry more than a few generations. So most of what you are saying is just not accurate, Also Hip Hop is a Caribbean immigrant invention. It was invented by Caribbean immigrants to the Bronx, I think you know that also. Social media was invented in Japan, Not America, Also it was the electric stoplight that was invented by an African American. But a nonelectric version existed in France where the automobile was invented. You are disbursing a not-very-accurate history. As a historian of international black history I kinda object to how inaccurate you are representing our history.
@@clementmckenzie7041 first of all I don’t know where you got your information but I can trace my maternal lineage back to 1650! Secondly Hip hop is a FBA invention that goes back to the 1920’s there are people like Pigmeat Marcum and Rudy Ray Moore who rhymed over music! Caribbean music was more Country music than soul music which hip hop used the breaks and the baselines from that is in no way Caribbean! This is why we are Gatekeepers our shit because as soon as we let y’all in you start claiming ownership! Well honey not anymore and since I am 57 years old and was around when hip hop became popularized music I know! But do you and I know Cool Hurc was Jamaican he admitted that he did not create hip hop nor did he create Djing! Stop with the lies and tomfoolery!

Even africans are not all the same africa is the most culturally diverse place on the planet
Africans are tribal back in Africa, but once some Africans come to the West, we're all one to grab resources from "black resources" Africans never accepted "black." Africa has over 50 countries and over 1000 languages. How can we be the same? We are all culturally different. The question is an insult to me.

That's right.
Yes bro u are very right ❤we are not all the same even our siblings they are not the same
Respect bro ❤ but this dude is doing the opposite believe this will get heated some day .. anyways love to everyone
THE PROBLEM IS THAT A LOT OF AFRICANS DON'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICAN PEOPLE . WE ARE NATIVE TO THIS LAND 💁🏽♀️
We don’t care. Don’t come to England and talk to us about black ppl. We have opinions like everyone else on the planet
And by the same token many American blacks have a tendency to think that if blacks from other countries speak English that they are like us. Keep it honest because I did. But,Once I started to see how different blacks in London were I understood. And for me Africans that I meet in America are different and honestly rude. How do you come to my country and treat me rudely? You would not allow me to do that in your homeland. It’s okay that we are different. But,Some of you English blacks and African blacks should stop being so nasty to us American blacks. It’s unnecessary and not cool.
And this is the issue. I feel like once the diaspora get that understanding, we can move forward.

As an African American (born here) I can trace my lineage to a specific region, country and tribe I speak the language of my forefathers most black Americans can’t
Born where you not an African American black Americans and African American is the still thing

Then you're not African American. African Americans are their own ethnic group. African Americans can trace their lineage to 1600-1800s in America through slavery.

I'm so tired of the "you don't know where you're family is from" discourse. Were they not taught about chattel slavery in the UK?? Do they think most Black Americans immigrated in the 1940s like they did in the UK? The "where are your parents from?" question shows how little they know about us.
Yes this is true, as a black brit i never fuck with that its just as disrespectful to us. The real black british are slave descendants as well.
I went to a faith school (Catholic) high school! We learnt about American History - starting with slavery!
In a school with 1:60 black children, that’s a memory I’ll never forget. Thank God I had a really cool, teacher who not only showed us the bad but the good. For example I saw images of ancient Floridians for the first time. Something unknown to the wider community! Studying ‘America’ from 1700-2000, part of my GCSE. was all new to me. Im African and back home, no one even knows that part of history! I only found out moving to the U.K.! I was fortunate! However my sister, went to a public school and their history curriculum, was
completely different. Mainly European. Now you see that not everyone learns about America in the British education system, yes they’ll touch on it (basics like civil rights, sports) but never go in depth unless you take GCSE (aged 14/15), or higher education qualifications in history!

Slave masters didn’t give a damn where we were from. Not to mention we lost our language. That’s why we can’t tell you where we’re from. No provenance.
Thought black Americans have always been in America?
Why? Trust most of them know this. Get into a debate with them and strategically ask questions. The majority will admit it.
@@prophetofanu8933Some have always been here, and some descend from Africa. It is not a denial that some part of our ancestry may be African or that the transatlantic slave trade happened; the question is the numbers captured and brought here. Then, the intra-American slave trade has to be brought up as well. There are many nuances when it comes to black American history. Still, not everyone will study or take the nuances seriously because they are too busy quoting white people’s sources while telling us not to trust the white man.
Sir, you are uneducated about chattel slavery here in the US. Everything you wrote is incorrect. I am sick and tired of uneducated FBA people who do not properly research chattel slavery in the US miseducating people about our origins. Captured and enslaved Africans were definitely identified by tribe and/or regions where they came from. This can be easily obtained through a Google Search. Furthermore, as explained in the book, Africanisms in American Culture by Joseph E. Holloway, slave masters and merchants knew where these people were from, documented where they were from, and even had preferences for particular African ethnic groups for particular skill sets. In fact, it is well documented by our own federal government via the National Park Service US Department of Interior African American Heritage and Ethnography program the list of the ethnic groups brought over here from Africa to be enslaved. You need to do better research. The reason we don't "know" about individual tribes that we come from is due to all those tribes mixing and cross mating and creating an entirely new people. Those old tribal or ethnic affiliations didn't exit anymore and were not important when you are mating with each other, having children and raising families with each other, and you are depending on each other to survice. Our ancestors let tribalism go on their own because it didn't suit their new reality! Not because Europeans didn't document where they were from.
@@AuthorEmpressjust say you don’t have African ancestry and move on. Us an African, why are you still hanging on to a story about a slave trade that most likely didn’t happen

"Being made to look dumb" and "being dumb" are two very different things. The wise man will admit when he is dumb (and do something about it). I think the boy worried about looking dumb, might unfortunately...be dumb. And that's okay (to a degree), I was that person at one stage in my life. I grew up in an environment where "being curious, wanting to know and aspiring to grow intellectually" was shamed. And I imagine that these boys experience the same thing. Why? Coz its undesirable to be (as young people often say) "a neek".
So what's the alternative? It's to take pride in 'not knowing' aka dumb.
