    You are very humble. While others may be 'great' compared to you, it's quite obvious you are 'greater' than most riders in the world!!!
    😊 keep up the good riding and you will be the greatest too. Already you are much better than me, and I learn so much from your riding and explanations.

    Thanks Kimono for this video link! One question more: do you pull the clutch in the small 180 degree turns? Why I‘m asking: my Yamaha Tenere 700 is very rough in 1st gear, when it switches from brake to throttle moment in the gearbox.
    My other challenges are the weight of my T7, my personnel weight (105kg), the 21“ wheel in the front and missing skills 🤭

    • @kimonoracing
      @kimonoracing  Рік тому

      Hi😊 No, I don't use clutch for 180 turns or even rotations. For off road type like yours, riders prefer automatic clutch system.
      This guy uses the one, and there is a link of one of the most popular product in the description field. ua-cam.com/video/-vdp0-rUCsE/v-deo.html
      Weight doesn't matter😊 Don't worry👍

    I have many questions after watching your videos. Where is this training school and do they have available trainings for non Japanese to learn about Motogymkhana? I would love to visit Japan and learn the basics!

    • @kimonoracing
      @kimonoracing  Рік тому +1

      Hello, thank you for your question!😄
      If you don't bring your motorcycle, maybe the following school could fit you. It is Honda's riding school, which rent you a vehicle. My partner & I are graduates of this school.
      www.honda.co.jp/safetyinfo/HMS/on-road.html
      I saw some instructors speaking English to non-Japanese speakers.

    I noticed that Mr. Nakagawa is lean with compared to your lean out on the rotations. Can you check his idle speed setting (he might also be opening the throttle instead of having idle up) and also check his sprocket ratio in comparison to your bike?
    My instructor at HSDC says that some use 3k to 5k idle speed in Japan. I think it might also depend on the different ratio of sprockets per bike.
    In my experiments, higher idle speed allows for faster rotations (full lock without brakes) but you will need to lean with or in, otherwise the footpegs or bumper will scrape.
    That is one of things I will practice and experiment on my next training. My local practice area is not clean enough and actually slipped thus having my 1st crash while doing Motogymkhana. The Honda training center is much more cleaner and flatter. I will try to practice full lock rotations with higher idle and no brakes with my instructors.
    BTW nice informative video. Keep it up and lets all learn together.

    • @enhinyerorider5914
      @enhinyerorider5914 Рік тому +1

      Just to add, full lock and no brakes is when already doing rotations. Rotation entry is the same as you described in your previous video on entering into a corner which was really very very helpful. That video was actually a game changer for my turns and rotation entry.

      @@enhinyerorider5914 Hello!!!! I am so happy to hear my video was a game changer for you!!!🥲
      Regarding your great insight of Mr. Nakagawa's riding and his set-up like the sprockets, yes, I need to ask it to Mr. Nakagawa. Please give me some time to ask him the points. I will get back to you later.
      In my understanding, most of Moto Gymkhana riders here to keep idling higher, as your instructor mentioned, because it supports turns & rotations. My favorite point is around 3350. Without it, I fall.... Oh, I fall anyway with it🤣🤣🤣
      BTW, this guy is an exception. I heard he rode at 8K!!! ua-cam.com/video/9twUAi1Q4o0/v-deo.html
